Even though it’s technically in Leavenworth, it’s not at all in the cute Bavarian-styled city you’re thinking of. It’s a good 30 minutes out of the city, so be prepared for that. All that being said, the food was excellent and the staff was very...friendly — all worth the drive and getting out of the craziness that is downtown Leavenworth.More

Cant go wrong here. Good prices, good food, good people. We stayed at a lodge nearby and had breakfast here twice. Quick, clean, and COVID safe. Espresso coffee too.

We had great service with outstanding Breakfast food on our way heading South from Canada. We were glad that we altered our itinerary in order to arrive at the Old Mill Cafe.

It’s small but the people are nice and the food is good. Plus it’s walkable distance from beaver valley lodge. Wish we could have eaten there for lunch! Our one regret because the options looks delicious!

We've always wanted to visit Plain as we celebrated the holidays in Leavenworth...but, just couldn't' find the time. Now, we're so glad we did! What a bucolic, breathtaking valley and the Old Mill restaurant is a highlight of the experience. The atmosphere is much like...the warm, welcoming cafe in my old home town...but the food is thoroughly modern and out-of-this-world. I ordered their "Redneck Benedict," with grilled sourdough bread, ham steak, eggs made to order and smothered in a tangy hollandaise sauce with fried potatoes...and it made my day. My wife ordered the Lone Star BBQ Brisket and loved it We both took home ample leftover portions for our dinner!.Highly recommend!More

As with our 3rd time in Leavenworth, we drove over to Plain to this great breakfast. The Mrs. enjoyed the Country breakfast with bacon (very meaty cooked just right). I ordered the Skillet scramble with pork - Outstanding with their own BBQ'd pork accompanied by...crispy fresh hash browns. Their homemade biscuits are light, fluffy, and served with a honey butter. The hostess/server (Owner with her husband) took care of us attentively. We will always come back here for breakfast for sure!More

I don't understand why people are giving 4 star reviews in this cafe,. The food is not good, The location is close to thousand trail which is awesome because, it's only minutes away, but the food is not good at all. Drive to Leavenworth to...get a decent meal. This place is only good for coffee.More

Scrambled eggs were rubbery tasting. Bacon and sausage fine. Too many potatoes served and just tasted like cardboard. I wanted to like this place. Probably should have chosen something else. Service was good and friendly.

We decided to try out a restaurant that I had discovered on the internet. First: this restaurant is NOT in Leavenworth - it is in Plain. It was worth the drive! Wonderful food! Good service! We will definitely be going back!

This restaurant is in a isolated mountain community that serves some ranches, but mostly "summer home" crowds. Lots of fried food and the slight grease odor that pervades the close quarters of tables. "Average" isn't a bad rating here when you compare this store with...those in Leveanworth, just a few miles down the road. A plus here is that they'll fill your growlers with local microbrews!More

Sorry! I just now saw your question. We had a group of 20 and had to wait a half hour, but got us all together even thought the place is small!
