I expected more since everything around here is so good, but this was a typical "breakfast joint". Nothing to write home about.

Good ole American breakfast, lunch and dinners. Being a baker, I like to test these treats when out. Their carrot cake and banana cream pies are delicious!!

It was so busy, they had one menu for me to share with my husband and daughter. Then, they came back 4 times to ask for the menu back, as they had seated other customers and needed the menu. Seems like a reaturant should have as many menus as they have chairs. Also, it too 45 min for basic breakfast.... More

Sometimes you have friends getting together to play music other night to play Trivial Suit other times you just want home cooking in a salad with croutons and beets. Everyone is super friendly and unrushed. A great place to take children they have dishes that they will enjoy there's always always a Blackboard with all the specials and two soups... More

Newly remodeled its very homey. Great food with large variety and lots of daily specials. Dinners come with soup or salad and dessert. Always fresh. They live music on some nights. Waitress's are attentive to your needs without being a pest. I can say with certainty I would recommend this restaurant to even the pickiest customer.

I have lived on Whidbey Island for 30 years, This is the best place to eat on the Island, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love this place. I always have my usual, The Sunshine Express, i am never disappointed, ever. The food is the best, your plate is overflowing, i actually had my favorite twice this week, cause it is... More

We were hungry and craving a warm bowl of soup - so the Clover Patch had two different soups: cream of chicken, and steak and barley. It was just the right thing, served with two handfuls of crackers. For dessert we shared a serving of bread pudding - good for the soul!

They have the best breakfast on the Island. There are so many items to choose from and the portions are huge. We eat there at least once a month. It is a wonderful family restaurant.

My husband had a craving for liver and onions and this is the only local place where that could happen. His were fine and came with some rather nice bacon. I wasn't too inspired, but finally ordered the NY steak with prawns with mashed potatoes sans the gravy. It also came with a nice salad and green beans (which were... More

We stopped the other day and asked for one of their breakfast sandwiches to go and they stated that since they were busy (not all tables were full) that they couldn't help us. Thought that was strange as it seems to me it would take less time to make a sandwich to go as to wait on a table.
