We were two couples and came for an early dinner and loved it! Our friends had been to LJ's numerous times before. We shared the Charred Broccoli and it was amazing! Two of us had the Pork Chop with the smoked baby red potatoes and...Bacon Mustard Cream Sauce (!!!!) and two of us had the Wagyu Burger. Everything was cooked to perfection and super tasty! The service we received was great! We will come back! Due to 'Covid' the tables were spaced apart quite a bit, which actually worked out nicely, since there is nothing to absorb any noise; I can imagine it to be quite loud, when things are back to normal and all tables are occupied; it will not keep us from coming back though!More

Ya gotta go. It lives up to the great reviews. We had the pork chop and it was as good as they get. A double cut chop served with creamy kale and potatoes, yum. Also had the Jambalaya. Excellent. Has shrimp, clams, chicken and sausage,...all the items that should be there. The rice is juicy and the seasoning is right on. You can choose your heat level. I'm a fan of high heat. I went for a 3 but next time would bump it to a 4. It is loud and lively and fun. A small but decent wine selection. Friendly and attentive staff. Parking is tight.More

I have not been to LJ’s in quite some time and since they moved to their new location. They have really stepped it up! The food was excellent! I can vouch for the pork chop dish and the lettuce wrap appetizer. One person in our...group had the 8 oz petite filet and found it wonderful. The wait staff was very pleasant and fairly attentive. While I was there the restaurant was busy but people were not waiting more than 5 or so minutes for a table. Prices were above average but in the ball park for the types of dishes sold. My only negative comment was how loud it was inside. This seems common in most restaurants these days, however. Overall a great job and I will likely go back when I can. Definitely recommended!More

Kyle was our waitress and she was amazing! There were 6 of us. Food was great. It was way to NOISY! Don’t plan on visiting while you’re there. A few of us were getting a headache because of how noisy it was. I think the...owners could install some acoustic baffles on the ceiling. They need to do something.More

This restaurant adds so much to the town of Lake Stevens. Not only is it a place to eat, but it's a gathering spot. What Lindsey and Josh have created here is extraordinary. The food speaks for itself, but it's the people that make it!

The service is a little slow only because they cook fresh, The wait is worth the food. My wife and I had the Pork chop It was heavenly such flavor and juicy. There were 10 of us and from vegan to us with pork. The...food was great for all of us, And then their desserts which i don't normally eat. They had a cobbler that was better than mom'sMore

We went there since our planned place was closed. It is nicely designed environment but way too noisy! The food choices were extensive. Although the food wasn’t great it was all very good. But the dessert was great so save room!! Overall it was a...pleasant surprise.More

Our kids, Jill & Brian, called us up and offered to buy a birthday dinner for (their) mom Missy.....and, if necessary I could join them!! Ha, Ha!!! Damn straight I was coming along. The menu was creative and well laid out. Decent selection of varied...proteins and sides. Three or four creative items I hadn’t seen before. I was debating between the Double Pork Chop and a GREAT ribeye my son in law swore by. A little pricey but worth every bite THEN and the next day as well. WOW!! One of the best steaks I ever ate! .....Note: I worked in the restaurant biz for many a year and soon will be celebrating my 74 birthday. I KNOW a good steak when I taste one. The other dishes I was able to steal a bite from were ALL good. The burgers and fries the grandkids were enjoying were also excellent! Missy said she stole a couple French fries and they were VERY good. Drinks, beers and wine were also up to snuff as was a dessert that was passed around. Atmosphere was a bit dark but not too loud for the bar and full restaurant! Service was terrific and quick given the the crowd size. My favorite restaurants in Snohomish County are usually found in Everett / Lynnwood / Edmonds. Visiting north is rare for me but now two reviews in the last couple months. If they are all like this gem; Do NOT MISS THIS WINNER!!!! As previously mentioned “a little pricey but worth it! Stay away from the big steak or dbl. pork chop and everything else is very reasonable and still very good! Only the ‘down home’ ambience separates this place from a Top Eatery Spot in Seattle.More

Yummy! I have never had a bad meal here. Food and service are great. I wish the lighting were a little brighter. That won't stop me from going back.
