Great Korean restaurant in the Lacey area. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The food is wonderful.....for those of you who like cooking your meat at your table, they have it available!!! The food was good, fresh and nicely presented. Amazing place. We will definitely be returning!

Delicious Authentic Korean Food! I go here to eat with family whenever I'm in Washington visiting. I love the food and the service is always wonderful! My sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, husband, and in-laws all love eating at #1 Korean BBQ! They serve an abundance and variety of all you can eat kimchee sides. The bulgolgi and soup dishes never... The place is comfy with big booths. Lots of cooking at table apparatus, but at first the menu seemed extremely expensive until we realized that the dinners were for 6 people. Once we got the food & sides recommended by our sweet Korean waitress we realized the $99 family dinners could easily feed 8. The waitress could not communicate well... More

I ate here four years ago and it was excellent...but the restaurant has substantially decreased in quality. The pile of spicy pork on my skillet was greasy and fatty with the bed of onions totally raw. My wife's chicken was plain and uninspired. The staff was indifferent to our needs, which fit the cafeteria environment in the restaurant. Next time... More

Really great food. I had Galbi (Korean short ribs) and hubby had spicey pork. This was a return trip for us. We ate here last year and enjoyed it so much that we returned this year while visiting the area. As in most authentic Korean restaurants, we got a nice assortment on namul, seasoned veggies. Most were either mild or... More

This restaurant is at the corner of a strip mall next to a busy road - nothing special about the location. The atmosphere is also o.k., nothing fancy. Two huge TVs dominate the walls. This was only my second time at trying Korean food. It's spicy and it's pretty good. We sat at a booth with a BBQ in the... More

We ended up here by accident but so glad we did. We told the owner we had never eaten Korean food before, but that I fancied a soup. She brought us a dumpling soup which she explained that the broth was made by stewing down beef shins for 24 hours. The result was a flavoursome broth, tgrough which eggs had... More

My wife and I went in for korean BBQ but eventually was told a whole story about how the grill area makes more money if they seat more people especially since it was busy (they only had about 6 tables with guests, probably felt busy since they only had 2 waitresses) and that it would not be worth it to...
