The Polish Platter was awesome! A little bit of most everything you would want to eat all on one huge plate for under $20. Not to mention, they have a small but good selection of beers on tap to wash down their tasty Polish fare. When I'm in La Conner again I will surely eat at Anelia's for some really... More

My husband always knows to expect a dessert course when we go out -- however, this is one of the first places that we've been where it didn't happen. Everything leading up to the dessert course was so rich and delicious. Cabbage rolls, goulash, everything you would expect. The recipes are all from Grandma, and the young couple who own... More

Anelia's was recommended by our host at the B and B and by other guests there and we were not disappointed. We had the Polish Platter and it was delicious--and big. It included a large cabbage roll, pyrogies, kielbasa, red cabbage salad and sauerkraut. The decor is simple and the service friendly. We would have loved to be there on... More

This is our 6 th or 7th visit and second review. Every meal here has been wonderful. The food is top notch comfort food. Tonight we had meatloaf with smoked cabbage (insanely good!) and mashed potatoes and roasted beets, Guinness stew and cheddar bacon perogies. Who knew you could smoke cabbage? The meatloaf was tender and well seasoned. The Guinness... More

You no longer have to eat at a waterside cafe in order to enjoy the waterfront in La Conner. The waterfront walking route is now fully open, so walk first and then eat at Anelia's. Check the website for information about live music, or simply eat well during a quieter hour. This small town can be explored quickly, if all... More

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Thursday night because there is live music. We had the fig and bacon and cheese appetizer and the chicken crepe. Both were excellent. Good service, and a great place to hear music. We will definitely be back the next time we are in La Connor.

Two words: Mushroom Pierogis. They are amazing! If you happen to be in La Conner and you feel like Polish food (but cool Polish food not whatever comes to your mind when I say Polish food) then go to Anelia's. Oh and they often have amazing specials too. The food is FRESH and cooked to perfection. If Polish food isn't... More

Clients took me to lunch as a partial thank you for attending to their honey-do list that he was unable to perform. No atmosphere, a wide open floor plan. Meals are Hungarian, very savory and much to my liking. Appetizer of figs, bacon and Brie with tiny toast sound weird but delicious. My meal was lunch special of "smokey BLT".... More

This was a real surprise! We were at first the only customers there--a Thursday at about 6 pm--so we got the full treatment. The restaurant offers Polish-based cuisine, and if the salmon fettucini I had is any example, the menu must be spectacular! My wife had the special--pan-fried oysters--and it was fine, too. Very simple decor, wood floors, walls, and... More
