We rode over on the ferry at the recommendation of some locals. The clam chowder and sandwiches were worth it! The service was very friendly, and the ambiance is great. There's a patio out back with a view of the water. There's a decent beer selection & the desserts looked wonderful, but we hadn't saved room. The price was very... More

Was not a fan of the old restaurant that used to inhabit this space. Expensive and mediocre food. The new Kingston Ale House seems much better. Service was good and the food was good. I had the ahi tuna that had just the right amount of rawness. Good selection of beers and a nice patio. Hope this one makes it.

One of Kingston's newest make-overs, the Kingston Ale House has been transformed by new owners into a great local restaurant. Completely redecorated, with three dining areas (kid-friendly in front, grown-ups in back, and a beautiful patio with view of the water and ferries), the restaurant stands out with a new menu that is varied and original. If you just want... More

Last Fall I reviewed the main Street Ale House. Gave it one star. One of the worst experiences we've ever had. Somehow, the review of that restaurant was assigned to the Kingston Ale House. These are two different entities. The main Street Ale House went out of business, due to terrible service, poor food, and management meltdown. Then, a great... More

Who would expect such a lovely dinner in the little town of Kingston? A group pf 4 of us had a wonderful dinner that included well prepared food of fresh ingredients with attentive service. The salads were fresh and crisp, the entries all a nice blend of spices and flavors and the desserts we tried were both a chocolate treat.... More

We loved that friends of ours took over the restaurant and were excited to see what they would change. It is clean and new and so far everything I have tried has been not just good, but beyond excellent. Last night the Salmon was moist perfection with a lovely Miso Sauce. The Crab Cakes last week were not only tasty,... More

For a restaurant that has just opened after new owners and remodel, I was impressed how excellent both the food and the service was... We found the prices to be reasonable and portions ample. I recommend their penne pasta... Will definitely return.

All of Kingston is excited for the grand opening of this new restaurant by new owners in a familiar building. The clean start is a welcome addition to our small town's summer regimen. We are looking forward to the new menu and delicious beverages soon to come!
