My friend and I stopped at the Ale House for dinner on our way over to the Hoh Rain Forest. The location is perfect for grabbing food after getting off the nearby ferry… Just blocks away. We were quickly welcomed by the hostess who gave us the option to sit on the outdoor patio or inside the dining room. We... More

Stopped in here for lunch and loved the food! I had the chicken skewers with peanut sauce and mushroom soup. The food was fresh, tasted fantastic and I savored every moment! Our server, Jen, was courteous, welcoming, and came over to our table a few times to make sure all was good. When it came time for dessert, we had... More

We expected the typical pub food menu while sitting on the outside deck enjoying the view so I was surprised at the items offered. Our pleasant server took the order for chicken piccata and a siracha chicken sandwich both of which were very good. Pleasant surroundings, good food and very nice service—worth a visit.

The happy hour menu has a good variety. My favorite is the fish sliders. The staff in the bar area seems to be hitting their stride now that they have been open for a few busy summer months.

This place draws in people solely based on its proximity to the ferry dock so it could sit on its laurels based on just that. However, the food, brews, and service were excellent!! Really good food with brews that are lovingly served. They even have the novelty of English half-yard beer steins which was a pleasant turn! Their food is... More

After riding the ferry, we walked down the street and found this little gem for lunch. Shortly after we were seated, she brought the girls a goldfish appetizer. Great idea - we had time to look over the menu. A little later, she brought out books for the girls. My sister and I split: edamame, lumpia, and chicken skewers -... More

We rode over on the ferry at the recommendation of some locals. The clam chowder and sandwiches were worth it! The service was very friendly, and the ambiance is great. There's a patio out back with a view of the water. There's a decent beer selection & the desserts looked wonderful, but we hadn't saved room. The price was very... More

Was not a fan of the old restaurant that used to inhabit this space. Expensive and mediocre food. The new Kingston Ale House seems much better. Service was good and the food was good. I had the ahi tuna that had just the right amount of rawness. Good selection of beers and a nice patio. Hope this one makes it.

One of Kingston's newest make-overs, the Kingston Ale House has been transformed by new owners into a great local restaurant. Completely redecorated, with three dining areas (kid-friendly in front, grown-ups in back, and a beautiful patio with view of the water and ferries), the restaurant stands out with a new menu that is varied and original. If you just want... More
