Northern Ales is a great local hangout, and not to be missed of you are passing thru Kettle Falls. Northern Ales is family friendly, and the beer, pizza and cheese snacky top the list of some of my favorite things. Do yourself a favor and stop in (open Wednesday thru Sunday), this is a sweet spot!!!

I discovered Northern Ales brewed their own root beer and it is delicious. They have the best balance of all the ingredients. and the cost is very good.

We LOVE this place. It is a traditional brew pub with great handcrafted brews. There is live music often! Open mic night with local talent is always fun AND you can take children any day of the week! It has a great family atmosphere, with homemade root beer and excellent pizza!

Nice local brewery with multiple beers to choose from. They offer "bar food" like Nachos, but the Pizza is pretty good. As for the beer a nice light beer is the Grouch, check out the city sign that states 1600 friendly people and 1 grouch....classic

The Okanogan Highland was my favorite. The nitro Stout is also excellent. Definitely recommend stopping there for a brew! They are also part of the "Inland Ale Trails"

Northern Ales has a welcoming atmosphere with wonderful service, drinks, and food. The care all the staff and owners put into their brews, food, homemade root beer, and service reflects through and through. This place is not set up for romantic nights or a hard core party animal. When you walk in you will find the floor scattered with peanut... More

We made the mistake of going to Northern Ales for dinner. Go only for the beer and find some other place for dinner.

Nice place to have a cold one. Good food & excellent music, although music is not always on the play list. Friendly and comfortable.

The beer is great, the service is great. The owners are friendly. Kids like throwing peanut shells on the floor while drinking homemade root beer.

I'll start by saying this is a really outstanding microbrewery. We tried three of their taps -- a light ale, a darker ale and an IPA. All three were excellent. If we had come expecting great beer and just happened to order food, I think we would have been delighted. But a local had told us they have great pizza... More
