We visited for a birthday lunch. It is a must to order one of the five chowders as part of your meal. My daughter isn't crazy about seafood; she enjoyed her hamburger. In the summer, it is fun to eat on their patio.

It happened to be international chowder day so they had small bowls for a dollar. It was a great appetizer before Cippino (sp?) for my wife and crab stuffed sole for me. Bother were great although the sole was a bit fishy for me. Most people would love it. I am sensitive to fishy flavors. My wife had a glass... More

Summary: This is a nice spot for dinner in the lovely Kent Station complex. Seafood is their speciality but they offer sundry other tidbits including burgers and a steak option. The food here is quite good, the service is likewise more than competent and the atmosphere is rather pleasant. The prices are what you would expect for a place like... More

I love Duke's chowder house, however this location is very small and the layout is strange. Very little room between tables, causing the feeling that you are squished in.

I ordered their cioppino and found it to be full of a wonderful array of seafood, just as it should be made. Plus all of their soups are gluten-free, which made it easy for me to select my preferred options without concern. My dinner associate had a delicious looking fish taco that was very generous in size. It was a... More

Duke's is almost top of the list of restaurants in Kent on TA so of course is popular. It is situated in a downtown district surrounded by others eateries, bars, shops, cinema etc. It is quite a lively place so don't expect quiet but the food was wonderful. There is plenty of choice but the emphasis is on fish &... More

I have eaten at Dukes on Lake Union and at Kent Station many times and have NEVER had a bad meal. Lots of good meals and some really good meals; don't expect great. The only really extraordinary thing about Dukes is the bill at the end of the meal.

We went to the Saturday market and stopped in for lunch. Liam was our server and was awesome! We had fish and chips which I love! Sampler of chowder, tasty. Stuffed prawns and child's fish and chips. Everything is fresh. Prices are reasonable. We will be back.

Duke's serves only high quality wild seafood and also offers grass fed beef. Love the extensive and varied menu options and great happy hour menu as well.

Thank Joanie J
