Olive Tree provided not only great food - but great service. Unfortunately, I had a large catering event that I had to cancel last minute because of Covid. They were very understanding and refunded my money. I then was able to order a scaled -down version for a smaller gathering , very last minute and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, and I had left-overs! I would highly recommend them in the future. Five stars!

Wonderful attentive service and excellent food. 10 of us were here today/May 17, 2023. The person taking orders, also moved two tables together for us AND served our meals. He did it all! He also answered all the questions I had about the sauces and Shawarma pita. He did all of this without the expectation of a tip--which was very unique. Several of us tipped because we "wanted" to and he deserved it! He welcomed us to stay and relax, no rushing us out.....and it was so nice that there were NO televisions blaring around us! Thank you Olive Tree!

Our lunch was delicious and the portions were generous. My first bite of my gyro was full of garlic and dill. I ordered my fries Greek-style--covered with feta and oregano--great choice. My husband chose the lamb plate-- it came with rice salad, pita and hummus. His meal was attractive as well as flavorful.
I understand that this restaurant has servers for dinner while we enjoyed the counter service during lunch.

Debated between a 3 and a 4. Most of the food was good. The salad, hummas, and pita were excelent. The rice was OK, but nothing special. The lamb, however was not particulary to my taste. It was over cooked, tough, and chewy. So on balance, I give it a 4.

I need to start this review by saying that I LOVE the idea of Middle Eastern food. I have come to realize recently that, apparently, I just don't ACTUALLY like it. There is nothing wrong with it. It just doesn't work with my eating habits. My experience with M.E. food (I am not of M.E. descent) is represented by about 7 or 8 well-reviewed restaurants. Having said that, I am giving the Olive Tree 5 stars. I ordered their "Chicken, Lamb, and Shish Platter" for takeout a couple of weeks ago. It includes the meats, bryani rice, salad, hummus, potatoes, tzatziki sauce, and pita bread. So... a varied selection of M.E. food. I got there, and the restaurant is very clean, modern, and neatly laid out. The employees are friendly and got me out the door with my order in no time. Decent parking in a large-ish shopping center.
I got home and ate a bit of everything in the order. I am sure it was all good, for what it is. I just didn't like it very much. Of all the M.E. restaurants I've gone to, I have never REALLY liked what I've gotten - and I always try to order something different.
Olive Tree did everything right - food was fresh, warm food was warm, cool food was cool, people friendly, well-packaged takeout, convenient location etc, etc --- thus my 5-star rating. If you like Middle Eastern food, you can't go wrong with Olive Tree!!! Give them a chance and see what you think for yourself.
I will not return, but that is 100% on me, not them.

Visitors love the giros, lamb shanks and Greek salad and especially the special hot sauce. Staff always friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant is nothing fancy but the menu options are fairly wide and the food is delicious. My friends and I met for dinner and catching up so we honestly weren’t particularly interested in what was going on around us. Still, we sat in a booth that was comfortable, our waitress was polite and prompt and got our order right, and she didn’t hover around too much as we talked. The bathroom was also clean. I’d visit this restaurant again.

4 of us went for lunch on a busy Wednesday, and though it was crowded, our meals came quickly, were equally portioned and delivered tons of flavour!
The chicken shawarma and gyro plates were faves and the baklava was soooo good (possibly best ever!?)
We will definitely go back and at minimum to take away.

This was a great change of pace for us. We wanted to try something different and we were not disappointed. I really liked
all the food especially their tzatziki sauce, baba ghanoush, (which is an egg plant dip) and the dressing they used on their Greek salad. So delicious. . . . I want to go back and try more!
Excellent service as well!

I finally feel like I've had Greek food. All I've ever had before was gyros. They do have them on the menu but there are alot of great meals combos here also. I had the chicken, lamb, and shish with rice. The rice had s hint of curry to it and was amazing. The meats were excellent also. Great restaurant with Very good service, and the prices were reasonable. Also tried the Baba Ganoush for an appetizer, I never knew what it was until tenor how good it was. I will be back for more.

My daughter in law and I came here for lunch about 1pm on a Wednesday. There were few people which was really nice since we brought the baby.
For lunch, you order at the counter, but the cashier said they offer full service at dinner. I can't eat foods that are too garlicky and these were not. Also, everything tasted very fresh. I had a chicken kebab platter which came with rice, pita, tzatzki sauce, small salad, a couple bits of potato and hummus and a drink.. It was all wonderful.
My daughter in law had a chicken gyro and a salad and she enjoyed hers as well,
The place is clean and tidy, the cashier was very pleasant, and the food was good. What more can you ask? All this was around $26 total including tax , and that included drinks,
I noticed that they have call-ahead so you could order in advance and take it home.
This restaurant is in the little shopping mall where Trader Joes is located.
The only negative was their ice tea~I didn't care for it so switched to pop.

You can eat in the restaurant, but we use this as a local Greek takeout restaurant. The service is fast and the food is great for a quick takeout Greek meal.

Visited for the first time on a Friday night and left very full and happy! Their hummus appetizer was super tasty and I could have eaten the whole bowl to myself...even though I don’t normally enjoy hummus at all. I had their gyro which was really good and my boyfriend enjoyed their chicken shawarma. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

My fiancée and I decided to stop in after the conference championship football games to order a couple of simple meals that we usually could count on. However, am starting to feel things are beginning to go the wrong way here. Anyways, to our order - #1 combo, a beef gyro with fries and a Pepsi & a gyro platter which comes with a mini salad, pita bread/hummus, rice/potato and gyro meat.
Our order is put in and what we received was a serious disappointment. My gyro platter had lukewarm rice/potato that I pray I don't get sick from. The gyro meat was dry and tasted like it was from the same cut that was made from the beginning of the day. Very little meat on top of the rice - like a small layer, estimating like 3 ounces. The salad and pita/hummus were good - probably the best part of my gyro platter. My fiancée's gyro was lacking in meat. A small portion at the top of the gyro and nothing at the bottom. The fries were alright, but you now have to request ketchup as they no longer have ketchup dispensers. By the time the ketchup arrived several minutes later, the fries have turned marginal and they serve you a tiny amount in this mini stainless containers that's like an inch and a half tall and wide. Seriously???
It's hard to believe that this was yesterday's meal. There once was a time when they were in the smaller location in the same strip mall that the gyros from here were an incredible value and tasted amazing. Seems 9 years (as far as I remember coming here) has taken a toll for Olive Tree. Thinking I'll be looking elsewhere - the quality of food no longer is worth the pricing they command.
