Fried food and root beer floats! What else can I say? The triple X has that old time drive-in feel and atmosphere to match. We had a combo platter of fried goodness that had fries, cheese curds, mushrooms, chicken strips, and other assorted food and a couple of gigantic root beer floats that were a perfect treat to 500 miles... This place is just good old-fashioned fun. I'll break this down into 3 parts: Food, Rootbeer (namesake), and the place (including car watching). Is the food mind-boggling? No, but it's fun, very tasty, and HUGE! Did I mention huge? I mean ENORMOUS! The 58 Impala (Bacon Cheeseburger) is my favorite. Super tasty, extremely messy, and too big to finish with... More

This a favorite stop for my kids and I. The price is a bit high but the portions are way large. They have a huge burger that can fill a big huge lumberjacks appetite. I love the amount of memorabilia and nostalgic things hung on the wall, ceiling, everywhere there is no spot left to hang or display items from... More

Nothing you order is good for you. Good burgers, fries, and root beer. The guy who runs the place knows what he is doing.

XXX Rootbeer is a great place to grab a hamburger, fries and a frosty mug of old fashioned rootbeer (indulge and make it a float). Two hurdles though, it tends to be on the pricy side and they only accept cash. Otherwise, the food is tasty and the 50's atmosphere can't be beat! Tip: Bring quarters for the jukebox. :... More

An old time 1950-60s motif with good ole rock'n roll blaring from an outdoor speakers. Food - large servings and my wife and I ordered one rootbeer float and a regular sandwich. This order was enough to feed two of us. The rootbeer float was served in a frosted jug and it was very good. We chose to seat outdoors... More

We went there tonight with my brother and our two son's....we split a burger each (2 dollar extra charge to split), got a couple of small root beers, the bill was about $40 dollars. THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED! If we each ate a burger, the total bill for a few hamburgers would have been $70, for four people. We... More

So 2 burgers with onion rings a Coke and milkshake came to 40 bucks. Had my burger come with a fresh seasoned patty and hot onion rings I could almost except the price but that isn't the case. Patty was dry with no seasoning and not made to order the onion rings were warm at best. The milkshake was tastey... More
