Great bakery choices on unique assorted baked goods . Don’t expect to find maple bars at this bakery as they have flaky crusts with Greek heritage ……cookies , main course meals , assorted unique high end baked goods are deliciously prepared . You can have a hot meal at a table or get goods boxed and wrapped to go……was a super fun and expensive stop for baked goods .

Our small group of car buffs drove to St John's Monastery to have a leisurely lunch. We were pleased with the facility, the food, and the location. Their Greek dishes are quality; great ingredients, well/properly prepared; tasty; and filling. We each had one of their "plates" and no one was disappointed. Prices are good and service is outstanding in spite of COVID-19 restrictions. We'll be back.

We live int eh area and have traveled this road for almost 70 years. Never, ever in my mid did I think there would be great Greek food just south of the Yakima Indian Reservation in very rural south central Washington state. But here it is. What a find. Interesting history. Warm and cold dishes here. Get it to go or sit and eat. Talk with the Nuns. They are your chefs and bakers. Problem is what NOT to order. You cannot go wrong. We will head that way this weekend. See you there!

We stopped in to get goodies for the next morning. They have a large selection of candies, baked goods and food you can take home to cook. We had the baklava which was some of the best ever. The little cheesecake cupcakes were so rich and creamy we still dream about them! And the pecan Carmel’s were amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop here if you are anywhere near!

Cute little restaurant and bakery and gift store. Sisters run the place and make the goods. Surprisingly large variety of baked goods some involved like baklava. They also grind their own coffee ($15 a bag) Restaurant has little menu. Soaps to die for- beautiful and so fragrant I bought 2. Tucked in the woods about 10 miles from Goldendale, nothing else around it, blink and you miss it. NB its on the right side. Food was fantastic. Do stop. Spend a little, they rely on it to run the monastery and the food was good.

My son said said “They must be holy women, because their baklava is heavenly!”. My husband thinks it is one of the best Gyros he has ever had! My son enjoyed the tofurkey gyro as well. For a family with very diverse palates - it was wonderful to have everyone extremely happy with their food!

A girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Yakima. We both had the Olympic Plate Special (half serving of Moussaka, 3 Dolmadakia and side of Greek Salad). Fabulous! Of course, we bought Baklava for later. Amazing! Another reviewer stated, "They must be holy women, because their baklava is heavenly!" This can be said about everything made by the nuns at St John's Monastery and Bakery.

We detoured down US-97 on a road trip from Seattle to Boise - We stopped here to check out the Bakery on the way to the Stonehenge Memorial. We had no idea this was here! Perfect stop for a snack and stretching the legs. We grabbed some spanakopita and baklava - yummers! We'll definitely be stopping here again next time through.

I read the trip advisor reviews and went up there for mid-afternoon goodies. There is an extensive menu of typical Greek items. I ordered two gyros, a Greek salad, and baklava , all excellent. Can't wait to try spanakopita and Moussaka.

If you like wonderful desserts, full coffee bar and fantastic dinner meals (for takeout), this is your unlikely place to stop. The ladies are supporting God's work and doing so by working their buts off. Great stop on your trip and excellent place to buy food gifts for your loved ones.

The first great gyro since we left the East Coast. We came for a 3 day visit and centered our visit around Goldendale Reindeer Farm (amazing!). The observatory is definitely a must do as well. If you're staying in the area or coming for a day trip, these three attractions should definitely be on your list . Goldendale has a lot to offer.

Wonderful food! Order the gyro! And the Greek salad! And the coffee! And definitely the baklava! It's a wonderful place to stop in the middle of the forest when there seems to be nothing else around but the trees and the quiet.

Everything is home made and tasted great. The food is all Greek-related. The Greek coffee was the best coffee I’ve had in our 5 weeks travelling in this part of the world. Highly recommend
