Rolled in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. This place is set in a remodeled older home right in the heart of town. Cozy atmosphere. Service could have been friendlier. Great variety of menu items. Food, absolutely amazing and wonderful! Definitely a must stop if in the area. I sure know where to go!

We stayed in Goldendale over the fourth and ate here for a dinner. I had to try the "African Peanut Stew" since I am planning a trip to Africa soon. It was the very best soup/stew I have had. It now is my most favorite over Irish stew(which was my favorite). The service was very personal and friendly. Did not... More

What a find in Goldendale! Gourmet food, attentive and cheerful service, a full bar and wine selection, and very reasonable prices. This restaurant is a husband and wife team who serve up cute ambiance along with truly amazing cuisine. I had a Caesar salad and the duck and they were both fantastic. They also have an eclectic and interesting wine... More

This place was perfect for a mother daughter dinner. We arrived after a long day of driving to this clean, beautiful house-turned restaurant. Our server sweetly helped us navigate the menu to find what we were really looking for and it was delicious. The pesto mushrooms were the star! We'll be back - this spot would be perfect for a... My husband and I just came back into town after a 24 hour drive from our vacation. We are both tired and hungry so we decided to give this lil restaurant a try. The restaurant was pretty small, but the food was incredibly amazing, the food presentation was great. Prices are about mid-range.The waitress are nice and accommodating. It would... More

When lunch time found us nearing Goldendale, I expected a burger or, at best, a deli sandwich. We were delighted to find The Glass Onion instead. Nice photography on the walls, by one of the owners, pleasant setting and the food was very good. The menu is not extensive but is varied and interesting. I had the risotto cakes and... More

Apparently, several people know because I found their reviews on Trip Advisor. Lucky thing. Lunch in these parts can be tricky. I'm gluten free, so finding fresh ingredients, mixed with inspiration and flair are a very ☺ and rare occurrence. Great drinks options as well. I had African peanut soup (not sure if that was GF), and mixed greens salad,... More

Second time there. Foursome. Great food. Simple but good decor. In a converted house. Bill was a surprise.

The food here was pretty good and the prices were decent; I would definitely go here again. The service was good and fast and the menu was full of interesting dishes such as grilled salmon with french lentils, roasted beets and butter sauce. They had a very good wine and beer selection and the servers were sharp to recommend the... More

I chose this restaurant because of the reviews here. I was traveling through on a cold, rainy and windy mid afternoon and figured I would be dining alone. Not the case! This is obviously a well-loved favorite. There is a varied menu and I went for Mexican-influenced flavors. I got the "Cochinita pibil tacos - pork slow roasted w/ citrus... More
