I had it with the cold damp weather and was really craving some hot, warm comfort. We found this ramen place and were impressed with the reviews. Husband and I did take out and ordered the same thing - the ramen with miso broth and...we both had sides of karaage. It was outstanding! We live about 10 minutes away but the broth was still steaming hot when we got it home. The noodles and broth were separated so everything was still fresh. I hate when places mix noodles and liquid because everything gets mushy on the drive home. This place was definitely a winner. Can't wait to try a few more options on the menu - this place truly was the perfect warm fuzzy on a cold rainy Washington day.More

This is the adult version of Ichiban and it is delicious. On a cold rainy day in Seattle there's nothing better. I had their most popular Ramen, with loads of noodles in a miso broth. It comes with pork belly, seaweed, bamboo shoot, a hard...boiled egg, mushroom and fish cake. You can get the soup as mild or spicy as you want it.More

We have been looking for a Ramen place ever since we moved down here (Tacoma in our case). We found this place had fantastic ramen and stopped our search. Definitely the best place for ramen in the area.

We stopped for a quick lunch and beer and were not disappointed. Had gyozas, croquette, and shard a Katsu plate. All delicious. Service was great as well. Would recommend.

Our family of 6 had a delightful dinner here. A couple of us with severe food allergies were pleasantly accommodated by flavorful and exquisite dishes. Even our youngest, who has a limited palate, thoroughly enjoyed his ramen. The wait staff is also extremely friendly and...adept at satisfying us. We will be back very soon!More

Amazing staff, spectacular food (plenty of veg options to fill the hearts desire) and great ambiance! Such a caring staff and clean place. Located next to the pets store and bakery!

Our group of 11 family members went to dinner at this restaurant. It was a cold evening so it was the perfect place to go. Our party had reservation so we were seated right away. Our waitress gave us enough time to review the menu....Most of us decided to order ramen soup. Our orders all came at the same time and served hot. The servings were more than enough and delicious. We enjoyed our dinner and kept us warm. We went back the following evening with some of my grandson’s coworkers and the same waitress remembered some of us that were there the evening before.More

We were headed north to Seattle and stopped in at Tokyo-ya for dinner. There were 5 of us total, and we all ordered ramen. Food was delicious, service was friendly and fast. We were back on the road in just 40 minutes. Highly recommend if...you are looking for a delicious option rather than basic fast food.More

This place has awesome Ramen, we ordered 3 different types and all 3 were tasty and delicious. The fried Shrimp Shumai, The Octopus side dish and Karaage was great too. If you’re into Ramen this is an awesome place to eat at.
