Cockatoos has the best Korean fried chicken. We get them every week. Their wings with house sweet sauce are our favorites. We also get an order of fried wings with no sauce for our son. He loves To dip his own BBQ sauce. They also have new Korean BBQ sauce wings that are good but the flavor is more sesame/ soy sauce. The place is a bar so not kid friendly. We do take out every week. Worried about being in public these days? No problem do take out like we do. Your wings comes with a tasty side cabbage salad and Korean marinaded daikon which is delicious. For the best wings in federal way this place nails it!

Hubbie and I had a serious craving for Korean friend chicken. We searched and did research and found this place. What a find in our own backyard. It's really a Korean dive bar but we usually just get take out. Sometimes the wings are big, sometimes smaller but the serving size is always worth the money. We usually get an order of the house sauce and some plain wings (for our son). Comes with Korean pickled radish as a side. We are here just about every week!

Cockatoo's is one of those places that will take you back to 90's Korea. They have big pitchers of beer, good Korean bar food, and K-pop playing on the TVs in the background. The outside is pretty unassuming as it's part of a pretty bland looking shopping center. The interior is pretty dark, but it's still a pretty welcoming place. They have a side room for larger groups, but be sure to either call in for it or get there early. Be sure to get their Korean fried wings, a 3000 CC pitcher of draft beer, and enjoy the Korean videos in the background.

Good portions with excellent cooked wings. The server was very attentive and the place was clean, but a little hard to find.

This place has very good chicken, Korean lounge food. Comfortable atmosphere. Nice service. Wish they open for lunch too.

Cockatoo's is a well-known local Korean fried chicken place. You can get the chicken, done plain or with different sauces, for here or to go. There's a full bar & lots of Korean bar snacks on the menu. The chicken is crunchy, hot and yummy. A full order is enough for 4 people to snack on and costs about $16. The chicken is cut into smaller pieces than American fried chicken, but still on the bone. You can also get a big order of drumettes & wings for about the same price.
Cockatoo is located on Pacific Highway just south of the Federal Way Commons Shopping Mall. This is a little tavern - it looks sketchy from the outside, but the first time I walked in they were playing a Justin Bieber song and had K Pop (Korean pop music) playing on the video screens. Lots of young adults hang out here.
This is a great place if you're looking for a late night nosh as they have bar hours - get delish fried chicken til about 1 in the morning!

Look past the strip mall location and the darkened bar setting. Brings new meaning to "KFC", The Korean fried chicken wings are definitely "finger lickin' good". I ordered the regular spicy and it packed just enough enjoy the subtle honey and fermented chili paste coating. Going back during happy hour.
