Love this place! great food, variety of dishes including japanese, chinese and vietnamese BBQ where you cook off your table. The place needs a bit of renovation but other than that foo is great. Love to use the private room with paper doors like in Japan.

Mr. Lee has been in business over 35 years. His Sushi Bar is open late weeknights... he doesn't close until the last guest leaves. I have arrived a 11:-- PM (closing time is 9:00 PM) and he still serves. Mr. Lee's Sushi is very good, Try his shrimp boat also, a house specialty..... The Sushi is Korean style which most... More

They seated our group in private room. They brought us hot towels to clean our hands. Then they brought all of us four shared appetizer dishes at no charge. Then out main courses and drinks. It was the best Japanese Dinner and service we have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant. Address is actually - 31246 Pacific Highway South

On every visit, it seems Mr. Lee is working behind the sushi bar, creating delicious sushi and sashimi and always greeting customers as they arrive and acknowledging regulars, of which there are many. Also very attentive to regulars is who I think is his wife? In any event, the service and food here is GREAT! A wonderful selection of all... More

Akasaka Japanese Restaurant is one of my all time favorite sushi restaurants. Excellent quality of sushi, large portions, fast service and they are open late 7 days a week. The Rainier & Space Needle rolls are fantastic.

I've eaten sushi all around the world, and Akasaka ranks at the top of the list anywhere and certainly the best I've ever tasted in WA. We enjoy the free appetizers, too. Our favorites include the toro, maguro, sake, himachi and tobiko nigri and the space needle, Alaskan and house rolls. They have private step down booths if you want... More
