My wife and I went here for lunch. My wife had the Mongolian beef and I had the General Tso's chicken. She had the egg drop soup and I had the hot and sour soup. Everything was very good!! Soup was hot and served fast and the lunch meal were right behind - hot and yummy. Service was very good.... More

It had been quite a few years since I stepped foot in this local Chinese restaurant, but I decided to try it again this week. I ordered House Special Fried Rice which included chicken, pork and shrimp for $9.95. Generous portion, very fresh ingredients, plenty of shrimp and nice bits of meat...but unfortunately there was no flavor. It had been... More

I'm picky about my Asian food. If it's too Americanized I tend to shop around. Magic Wok actually makes real Chinese food. who would've thought. LOL They make other dishes but my family loves the house chow mein with everything in it (seafood, poultry and pork), then the house special fried rice, and my favorite mandarin chicken reminds me of... About the only change in visits since the 80s is the familiar server has moved on - the food continues to be excellent Szechuan style along with a great lunch deal. Hidden away in Twin Lakes near a Rite Aid, it is our favorite for South Sound Chinese food.

The Magic Wok is in a strip mall in the Twin Lakes area of Federal Way. We have been coming to this restaurant for several decades. The food and service are always reliable. We like the family-style specials for $14.95 per person because you get an appetizer, soup, one main dish per person, fried rice, and tea. This is a... More

On a very rainy day a friend took me to lunch at Magic Wok in Federal Way. I had Chicken with Szechuan Garlic Sauce and he had Orange Chicken. They both came with a soup. Everything was very flavorful and we appreciated the portions that were not so much that you are wasting food, but enough that you were full.... More
