Try not to let the 'cover' fool you. This truly is one of if not the best real pastrami sandwiches you can get. I've been eating here a long time and it really is cleaner than it looks. He is very careful. It is sooooo good. A must if you love pastrami!!!!!!!

Love this place. The owner is there for business not idle chit chat. Friendly but busy. Great pastrami not the usual sliced stuff. Has it flown in. Price is moderate. Found him when work ordered sandwiches in. 10 years ago Been going ever since.. Servings are smaller and buns smaller but the food is the focus here. It is great... More

I am always on the lookout for a good pastrami sandwich. I went here and it was good, but I think Red Rock Subs has them beat. Trying to get in and out of either place is a bit of a nightmare. The problem is Barney's is tucked back in a corner and is easily missed. Nobody pays much attention... More

Pastrami sandwich is ridiculous its HUGE and delicious! The man behind the counter owns, cooks and serves his customers! If you tell him to make it house or classic style youre good- he puts the best of everything on it. Simple and yummy.

very tasty but nothing to brag about, be sure to bring cash he takes nothing else. The parking lot is a cluster &%$^ so be prepared to be trapped during busy lunch hour. Decor is not his strong suit either, it's plastic chairs and awkward in here best to get it togo!

Steamy hot place. Only had pastrami. Good, somewhat fatty, food. Good quantity for the price. Go for the pastrami.

Barney can be a little grumpy sometimes, but if you can overlook that, and the "Hole in the wall" ambiance you are in for a treat. He steams the pastrami like any east coast deli, and it really makes a difference. Very flavorful, and for the size of the sandwich, well worth the price! Don't miss this one!

Don't miss this great little sandwich shop. The owner is amazing - great humour! He'll give you a sample if you ask so you can be sure the flavour is what you're looking for. Go traditional but I suggest that you share - the sandwich is HUGE! Small spot but big flavour and personality!

Barney's is awesome. I've stood in line for 20 minutes just waiting for the shop to open and every second was worth the wait. Can't visit weekly, my cholesterol can't take it but ohhh so good.
