If you're like me and enjoy a selection of appetizers for dinner, this is the place. During my last visit I enjoyed a goat cheese and plum tart and some wonderful calamari. That left me room for their delicious key lime pie. Their entrées were tempting but it was late in the evening so something a bit lighter made more... More

6 of us went here on a Saturday Night. We did not have reservations but we were able to sit at the counter. Food is mostly pasta and it was delicious! Service was great. I suggest you get reservations as the seating is limited and worth it!

Menu offers variety of appetizers, soup, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Our server attentive and food served in a timely manner. Ample portions, well-prepared, many ingredients locally sourced.

We had to wait about an hour for food + very expensive compared to the plate quality. Chicken Marsala was sliced chicken in a pasta bowl. Charged $16 for a $10 plate. I wanted a good meal.

We hadn't been here for years and were hankering for something new and different. Went for lunch today, still charming and the food was pretty good. Service wasn't super speedy but friendly.

On our way back from a weekend in Eastern Washington, we stopped in at The Valley Café based on reviews from Trip Advisor. We were NOT disappointed! The pasta dishes were delicious as was the Cuban sandwich. Since we had a birthday girl in our party, we were treated to a slice of an out of this world house made... More

We had not been in since the new owners took over but had tried their Cuban sandwich and portabella sandwich at the farmer's market ( which were both delicious!). We were excited then to try out the new Valley Cafe and looked at their website to see the new menu before we came in. I had the Chicken Marsala and... More

We ate here several times while staying in Ellensburg. It never disappointed. They serve some of the most delicious soups I've ever had, tomato bisque to cream of fresh mushroom. The Cuban connection comes through deliciously with the pulled pork tacos. Everything is super fresh, sourced from local farms.

They must sprinkle magic on their pork because that was some of the best tacos I have ever had!! My coworker ordered the smoked tomato soup and a Ruben and he was extremely impressed. The server was wonderful and the owner even came out to say hi. I highly recommend this place and I will for sure be back!

I got the portobello caprese, smelled so good that while walking around the farmers market others asked what it was & where. It was delicious!

The Valley Cafe is known as one of the best restaurants in Ellensburg! This business has been continuosly operated since 1930 and still retains the original Art Deco decor from its 1938 remodel. This is a farm to fork restaurant using local ingredients for a more flavorful experience. The business also features a separate juice/coffee bar that serves sandwiches, soups and salads which is adjacent to the restaurant and located within the same building.
