Ellensburg Pasta Company was convenient for lunch as a halfway stopping point on our drive from Seattle to Walla Walla. It was August during the COVID Delta spike, so it was perfectly fine to have their outside patio area to ourselves. We had checked the website and confirmed that gluten free options for a fee were available. Another in our party ordered the Chicken Panzella Salad which looked yummy, but I had a craving for Spaghetti Marinara which of course ended up having to be gluten-free rice penne pasta marinara instead. I could have added three (3) meatballs for three dollars but just paid the two bucks (actually 1.99) gluten free fee. Service was fine, their maskless diners (even though there was mask signage at the entry door) stayed inside which was fine with us, the food was good and prices acceptable.

Gluten free (celiac) and vegan family truly enjoyed the experience. Best pasta and have to say felt pampered by the staff. Seated in 5 minutes, water and drinks 5 more minutes, ordered and had meal in another 15 minutes. I would have waited much longer for the wonderful experience. Thank you for taking care of my family and friends on my son's 21st birthday!

We stopped for the night in Ellensburg on our way to Lakewood WA. Wasn't sure were to go for dinner and drove downtown and found this restaurant, as soon as you walk on the door the wonderful aroma hits you. Had a nice table and was served some bread with garlic/oil & vinegar, delicious!! My wife and both had a pasta dish that were great, we ordered a side dinner salad and a side Ceasar and both were very good but pretty pricey. The pasta dishes were both very reasonable as were the drinks. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. All and all a great place and would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice quiet dinner.

A very rare are 5-star review while dining out during this global pandemic. This restaurant was 100% covid-19 safety compliant. I had the fish and chips. They were excellent. Fish with light and flaky inside and crispy on the outside. I asked for the fries extra crispy, and they were cooked extra crispy – – perfect. My meal plus to Pellegrino's came to $20. Fantastic price for such outstanding food and service. If I could change one thing it would be that the servers stop saying corner. I had a great little table on the corner, and every time a server walked in and out of the kitchen they yelled corner. I recommend finding an alternative solution, perhaps some mirror.

After reviewing choices on TA, I was able to secure a spot for late lunch here. One special of the day was Diablo Shrimp, a slightly spicy angel hair pasta preparation which was very good but not quite as flavorful as I had hoped. Loaded with Pacific shrimp, definitely. Meeting the Diablo definition, yes. Perfectly cooked pasta, for sure. But I was looking for that little bit of extra tastiness. Service was superb. The dish was delivered piping hot. As a solo diner, I was in and out in 30 minutes approx. I'd like to come back and enjoy a different entree, and will attempt to do so.

We really like good Italian food so were excited to note this place is the top-rated restaurant of any kind in town. Ordered ceasar salad, house specialty creamy tomato soup, browned butter and mizithra pasta, and braised beef ravioli. Complimentary bread with excellent olive oil started the meal. But after that, everything went way down hill. Tiny portions of Olive Garden-level food (i.e., undercooked pasta, watery sauces, soup and dressing, oregano and pepper the only recognizable spices). Staff tried really hard but were stretched way too thin. Since it's the only full Italian restaurant in Eburg it's go here, order pizza or stay home and make your own. Disappointing...

The calamari and house salad were great. Ahi was outstanding, fettucine alfredo with broccoli and chicken also great, blackened salmon was enjoyable. Chocolate chip cookie for dessert was OK, maybe not worth the price (it's large but pretty thin).

Stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. The service was good and the food was excellent. We started with the fried calamari and the portion was generous and it was good. Not the best I’ve ever had but good. I then ordered the shrimp diablo with artichoke hearts and it was very good. Portion size was good. It was a bit more than I could eat (although I did pick out all the shrimp and there was a generous amount of shrimp) but the portion was not ridiculous large with lots of extra pasta. I would definitely eat here again.

Nice place when we walked in, saw they had white table cloths in one dining room, we were taken to the back where there weren’t any table cloths. Guess we weren’t dressed for the part, yet I saw a couple of guys with T-shirts on and baseball caps in the nicer dining area. Bruschetta was good, but needed more tomato, one small slice, the ratio of tomato to crostini and cheese was off. I had the Healthy Veggie Sauté with regular pasta. It was okay, needed something else, more garlic, some herbs… ? Service was excellent.

No. Bad night? Who knows but, after an hour and 17 minutes we got our food, the pasta was sticky and cold, the grilled steak salad tenderloin pieces were cold. It was 11 minutes between asking for a beer and the delivery, there were four tables seated after we were and three left before we got our dinner. The explanation was the kitchen made an error. But, the manager did comp our meal. Not going back.

There's not a whole lot of selection in a small town like Ellensburg, but who needs choices when you have The Pasta Company? Everything is delicious, from the delightful fresh bread and olive oil appetizer basket, to the salad and pasta. Although I was disappointed in the meatball - tiny and pricey. Otherwise, delicious The portions are not big, they are right sized. You won't be able to clean your plate, unless you're a big eater. I liked the pace of service, too.

My only complaint is that I didn’t visit here before. Visiting Ellensburg for a few days and decided to have a late lunch here on our last day. Place had a good number of people but we were seated right away and serve bread and water. Nice hostess and fabulous waitress. Lots of beverages to choose from, including beer on tap, bottled beer, alcohol, specialty drinks, and wine. We got a beer and the blackberry lemonade special (alcohol). Went down smooth and alcohol not overpowering. A women at a table next to us ordered the same after she saw our drink. I ordered from the October special menu. Tomato soup with cheesy bread. Definitely comfort food and worth it. Fresh Parmesan added (can never get enough cheese). Husband ordered the meat lovers spaghetti. A little spicy but he liked it (no leftovers so a good sign). Guy next to us ordered Mac and cheese bratwurst from special menu (my second choice). He seemed to enjoy it (nothing leftover). Now we are in a food coma and about to take a nap. Looking forward to baiting EPC again in the future!

Still the best place to eat in Ellensburg! Great food, the best service. Joann and Bruce personally oversee every detail. It is common to see the owners on the floor making sure your experience is 5 stars. Try the fillet, many say it’s the best steak in Ellensburg

Unacceptable Experience! We arrived on time for our reservation. We ordered drinks and then ordered dinner in a rather normal rhythm for order process in a decent restaurant. Well that’s where everything went bad. We then waited for food to deliver with nothing showing at our table. When we finally received our food it was more than an hour later. Several apologies were given but food was mediocre and my pasta dish was cold when delivered. Spend your 💵💵 elsewhere…

We got takeout with lasagna and angel hair pasta. The staff was super friendly and helpful despite being quite busy. The order was ready when they said it would be, but then the problems started. First, the paper takeout containers totally failed - the sauces soaked through them and turned them to mush in the 5 minutes it took to get to our hotel so much that they stuck together and when pulled apart they fell apart. Second, the order was incorrectly done. We had asked for no tomatoes in one dish and got tomatoes. Third, the food was, across both dishes we had, bland. The angel hair had basically no flavor. The lasagna fillings were bland and the sauce not very good. It is a shame because i appreciated that at least the sauce wasn’t sugar heavy like a lot of sauces but it was watery and didnt have much flavor other than the pieces of onion in it.
