Whenever we head east we try and come to the Red Horse for breakfast or lunch; we've even been known to leave at the crack of dawn to make it here just as we start to get hungry. The food is good, the coffee is good, and the staff is friendly. But it's the gas and oil decor that really... More
They have been good in the past so I will chalk my last visit up to being to busy for the the staff they have. wait time was crazy. took forever for someone to find us and take our order and then the food wasn't as good as it usually is.... Kinda was a bummer..
What a cool place! Full of motoring memorabilia so spent ages reading the walls. Food is standard diner fare but is good quality and the staff are really friendly.
We stopped at the Red Horse Drive-In in Ellensburg on our way to Moses Lake. It is a 50's/60's theme diner. All done in red and white. The list of sandwiches, burgers to choose from takes awhile to read. There is something for everyone. Breakfast served until around 11 am. We will be back!
This restaurant has good food good clasic atmosphere but the prices are a little high for what you get. But the sandwichs burgers and pretty much everything on there menu is pretty darn good if you get the chance you should definitely try this place. My family and I eat here once a month and if you don't feel like... More
Avoid this place if you want fast service, pleasant and attentive people, and warm food. I was in Ellensburg to see my daughter and son an law, coincidentally there as well. I had seen the restaurant several times and so we choose it for its look of fun, frolic, and nostalgia. Then the pain began. A "5 to 10 minute"... More
I've got a problem. It can be yours too. I can't get from Spokane to Seattle without stopping in Ellensburg. Why you ask???? Gotta eat at YELLOW CHURCH CAFE and RED HORSE DRIVE IN. We discovered YELLOW CHURCH CAFE a year ago. Have stopped there every trip. Food is superbly prepared. Flavors are fabulous. Service is great. Chefs are awesome.... More
We've had breakfast or lunch many times at The Red Horse, and it's always great. Plus if you're a fan of gas and oil memorabilia, you won't find a better place to see a lot of it in one awesome place. The food is classic diner: bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, omelets and more for breakfast; sandwiches and burgers... More

just a comment...that my husband wrote a n article for his blog on the "Red Horse Diner" . My husband has written a book on best practices called "The Graduate Handbook - You Don't Know what you Don't Know." He wrote in his blog about how the Red Horse Diner exemplifies some of those best practices....He would like to publish it on Twitter and Facebook as well............he needs a photo he can use of the restaurant. We forgot to take one with us we were there.
