A big upgrade on the old Sunset 190 space. We ate lunch outdoors which with the new sun “sails” offers protection against the strong August sun. We ate two salads, my wife had the gem salad with chicken - without the chicken there would have...been 5 lettuce leaves albeit with a great dressing for $12 and the chicken for an extra $6 was well worth the upgrade. I chose the frigola sarda salad which was served on a tiny plate compared to the gem salad. While blindfold I would not have guessed an anchovy vinaigrette dressing - a big reason for ordering - it was tasty enough but not good value for $. We’ll go back and try other dishes since we have always been impressed with dinner.More

Excellent spot for a happy hour in Edmonds! The lounge is a great spot for a one-on-one get together. The food is amazing and the service is top quality! A few beers on tap, but their cocktails are the specialty. With a one page HH...menu, there are more than 8 selections to choose from and everything we ordered (5 items) were tasteful! I recommend their flatbread pizzas and cheese curds!More

This is a local hangout that has fascinating menu selection with beautiful presentation. Full bar with good selection of wines. The place is fairly small so call for reservations. Atmosphere is cozy with tall booths in some areas. Limited parking but there is street parking....It reminds me of being in an European bistro. Prices are not moderate, but I’m worth it ;).More

Our 3 week west coast trip has ended in Seattle... this was bar far the best meal of the trip. The staff and venue are excellent and the food is fantastic. I highly recommended the short ribs, if you were to ask my partner she...would say the pasta was the star of the menu... it is all great. Would highly recommended a visitMore

Short rib and halibut were lackluster and bland with no spice or aroma I had to use fair amount of pepper on my halibut to make it a little bit flavorful with $37 a plate I expected a little character in my meal. Judging by...the positive reviews I can only guess that the main chef was not in the kitchen that nightMore

I come here at least once a month. The food, service and prices are always excellent. I like to sit in the booths, as this provides some privacy and allows for conversation. Service is always good - I would even say fun. The portion sizes...are sensible which I appreciate. Can get busy on weekends so a rez is recommended.More

There is plenty to satisfy the hungriest appetite, and also choices for those wanting a lighter meal. Two of us were delighted with the beef ribs off the bone, another had a succulent halibut special, and I was contented with the baby lamb chops, a starter...actually perfect as an entree. An excellent waitperson. I only have two quibbles: The noise level rises to deafening; and for a short person the seats are too high.More

You definitely will want reservations for this popular bistro. There is an interesting cocktail menu, very nice wine selection, and an enjoyable menu. I loved my roasted cauliflower appetizer and mussels entree and my husband was impressed with his beet salad and halibut entree. Service...is attentive and kind: my server removed the price of my cocktail when I didn’t love it, without being asked.More

Met some friends to celebrate our anniversaries- at their favorite restaurant. Enjoyed some flatbread with olives (delicious) and the Octopus ( $16 and a little odd tasting). We each shared the seasonal salad with blackberries, blueberries and chèvre ($12) which was great! The guys had...the New York steak ($40) and I had the Copper River Salmon ($36) which honestly didn’t taste any different from normal Sockeye. My friend had the Halibut ($32) and said it was excellent. Our delightful server (Liv) treated us to a slice of chocolate torte. With wine the bill came to $325 so not an inexpensive dinner but pleasant and delicious!More

They have a good Hapoy Hour, but the bar is pretty small. If you are going to have 7 people in your party you might need to have someone get there early to grab seats.
