Often touted at the best on Orcas, IASB was fabulous last night. Gourmet and great service without being pretentious. Lots of local ingredients. 25 for corkage was fair and appreciated.

While staying on Orcas we made a reservation here to celebrate my birthday. It was a November evening and there was just a small number of people dinning. Our server did a great job explaining the Inn's lodging, the beautiful grounds, and the restaurants offerings for the evening. I had a very nice trout special, and my wife had the... More

We reserved a table at this restaurant while visiting Orcas Island and had a meal that was truly memorable. Many of the ingredients were locally sourced and on the night we were there the chef had recently harvested a Mangalista pig from the herd he raises. Never in my life had I expected to be able to taste the meat... More

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner with a great server and wonderful presentation. The Greens, Blue Cheese, Toasted Hazelnuts and Red Wine Vinaigrette were excellent. Great taste and they divided it for my wife and myself. We both had specials with mine being the wild steelhead which was flavorful and my wife had the lamb. The only issue was... More

Popular Orcas Island restaurant with consistently wonderful food. Pleasant farmhouse with good wait staff. In summer can enjoy outside patio. Bar menu is a bit less expensive, but again good

A reservation is definitely encouraged. The restaurant isn't very big. It is only open for dinner. The chef puts together a wonderful selection; fresh and locally sourced as much as possible. The food is always great, and we usually come back the next evening too. The deserts are worth every calorie so don't pass them up! When the chef does... More

My husband and I celebrated our mutual birthdays at this lovely Inn. We were seated in the main dining area since the outside dining area was filled. Had we made our reservations earlier in the week, we probably would have been able to secure that preferred seating. Pricing was a bit high, but comparable to like places on the East... More

This place is so peaceful and all employees were extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a handicapped room which was large, bathroom was marvelous, and the entire atmosphere is one of peace and restfulness. The old road still visible out front harks back to the oroginal settlers more than 100 yeas ago. Deer roam the yard, one doe has a... More

A trip to Orcas Island would be totally worth it just to have dinner at the Inn at Ship Bay. I doubt there is a better dining experience anywhere north of the California border! The restaurant is quaintly set in an old farm house that has been up-dated to accommodate a larger number of guests, many of whom stay at... More
