A good place for breakfast.

Very reasonable prices for a restaurant in a tourist town. I ordered a skillet breakfast burrito, and for the price it turned out to be enormous...and delicious. Obviously, the locals like this place, too. The staff was pleasant, as was the atmosphere.

I typically only eat 1 egg of Eggs Benedict. It gets too rich or just don't eat that much. But at Island Skillet I managed to eat everything without even thinking of stopping. The sauce was really really good and not overly rich. Wish I was in Orcas longer to try more meals!

Pancakes were cold and breakfast sandwich was not great - English muffin was partially burned & limp. Service was okay.

We got off the ferry and felt like a late breakfast. Definitely a locals place. Service a bit slow but just gets you into the Island time zone. My wife and split the chorizo scrambler and it was enough for the two of us. Hash browns heavy with butter. Local salsas. Priced less than most mainland eateries.

We wanted to grab lunch before starting a 3 day camping trip on the island and the Island Skillet was a great choice. The only downside was the restaurant was so popular that we had a 30 minute wait for a table. Once we sat, we had attentive and prompt service and everyone enjoyed their lunch.

This would be a great place to have breakfast or dinner. The food is great. The staff is nice. I love their Ham and cheese omelets.

Anxious to get a good brekkie, we decided upon the Island Skillet. Once inside we found it far more spacious than it appeared from the street. Delicious aromas were emanating from the bust kitchen with a variety of local and visitors seated throughout. The menu is superb. The wait staff was remarkable pleasant and appropriately attentive. The food was piping... More

Orcus Island doesn't have any chain stores or restaurants that I could see and this place looked interesting. It is family run and seems a step above a greasy spoon when you walk in with it's book shelf of 'help your self' hot sauce. I had the: OJ and Poached eggs, with Hollandaise sauce, smoked salmon on an english muffin... More

Home cooking! Good cooking! Great breakfast and lunch! You dine to old music on tables that might have come right out of YOUR house. The owner is great and makes sure you get what you want. Very attentive. We knew we were in the right place when you looked around and it was full of LOCALS instead of all TOURISTS.... More
