This was a little of the beaten path but worth the find. I enjoyed the special, the Cuban. It's was excellent alone with the coleslaw I would have again. The waitress was amazing and seemed to really enjoy her job! It was a great find!

I had the Reuben sandwich with coleslaw and ice tea for lunch for $18 with tip. So not cheap, akin to all places here. They weren't seating people on the outside patio, just on the outside deck/balcony. Food was fine, nothing bad or stellar. they were good about refills on ice tea.

Orcas Island is overall a magical place, and Mia's cafe is the perfect fit. Very adorable & enjoyable! Mia's cafe is like something you would read about in a Nicholas Sparks novel. It is the perfect place to visit!

The menu was better in writing than in taste. The "red flannel hash" was good (beets and potatoes) but the rest of the items got mediocre responses from the rest of the table (there were 7 of us). There aren't any pancakes or traditionally kid-friendly options. Our southern family tried the biscuits and were disappointed in the texture and flavor.... More

After picking up several pastries at the Brown Bear, I saw this cafe and decided to have a sit down breakfast instead. Not sure if I came from the correct entrance door or not but no one was there at the first glance, then I walked inside a bit and saw a table was taken by another traveler. So I... More

Loved this cafe. Had their basic breakfast of eggs, toast and hashbrowns, which was just excellent. The hashbrowns are like none I've ever had. They call them "Smashed Browns" and they are red potatoes that are fried up like hash browns but they are in irregular chunks, and they are absolutely fabulous. It was called the basic breakfast, but there... More

Husband and I both had the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich (on bread, not a muffin) sounds boring, but actually quite good, and plenty of food. Sister-in-law had the oatmeal (had fruit in it) and seemed to really enjoy, was a good sized bowl. Limited choices here but good food and service.

This is a spot the locals go as well as tourists and is well worth it! Mia's serves a variety of yummy breakfasts that you can't get at any old diner. I would recommend this anyone traveling to Orcas. Wish we could have visited for lunch!
