Had halibut fish and chips that were so good we went back the following day. Nice selection of microbrews on tap. Not fancy, and wait staff left us alone which is just how I like it.

We had dinner here 1 night and would have gone back if our stay was longer. The waitress was friendly and the burgers were some of the best we have ever had. My husband loved the beer selection and I had the in rotation cider. Very casual atmosphere, perfect for a no fuss meal.

We enjoyed a very well-prepared lunch at this local tavern. The burgers were tasty and the house-made Clam Chowder was a treat. Great local beers on tap too!

I think burgers are a specialty of the Lower Tavern and they know how to cook them. There was an incredibly good selection - we each made a different choice and really enjoyed our burgers. It's a great bar if you like sport - lots of tv screens. We will be going back before we leave the Island.

First place we ate on the island and we were so happy with the burgers we ordered. Have to say it was one of the best burgers I have EVER eaten.

Just what we needed at the end of a fun day on the island. Didn't want anything too fancy, and loved the fun casual feel of this place! We started with the onion rings and both ordered burgers. Delicious!!! I can't wait to come back and eat here again!!

Lower Tavern is a bar and grill with maybe the best burgers, beer, and the like style food in Eastsound. I ate their 3 times during my 5 day stay and was never disappointed.

We couldn't stay away from this place once we found it. It isn't a place with a view and it is just a tavern, but the halibut was great. We were happy with the service as well.

No real ambiance to this place but the basic pub food was very good. Burgers are their specialty and they were very good - we loved the Patty Melts - but the chicken burger was really good too. Prices are reasonable for the island too.
