Was difficult to get a reservation, but turned out to be our best meal on Orcas. Both the fish and steak were great. The fruit pie desert could not have been better.

There are so many good restaurants in Eastsound. We had a mediocre, very overpriced, over-garlicked meal there last week. The hostess was pleasant. The server was ill-trained as to the proper pace of the meal, and needed to learn NOT to stack the dirty dishes...More

New Leaf Cafe offers a outstanding combination of excellent food, great service, and a wonderful view of the water! We had breakfast and dinner at New Leaf and enjoyed both meals. Don't miss this dining experience!

You can't beat the views here. We had two great meals here (dinner and the next day for brunch). Great service, reasonable prices - just a dud (overpriced and undercooked) desert - otherwise would have given 5 stars.

New Leaf is a slightly upscale restaurant that's across the street from the shoreline in the middle of the town of Eastsound -- very nice setting and good views of the sound. The menu was good and somewhat French-inspired. My halibut cakes and clam chowder...More

Beautiful view of East Sound cove with excellent food. We had a nice dinner with salad and entree. The sautéed salmon with seasonal vegetables was outstanding. The halibut cakes was light and tasty.

Caught them on a bright sunny morning. Be aware that Brunch service ends at 12:30 and they close for the afternoon. I had the Chicken & Waffles - with a custom syrup with butter & cinnamon. Note that there is limited parking in the area...More
