I can't believe that the best Korean food is in Concrete! The Bibimbap, Bento boxes, bbq, and tempura are all superb. Every time I go, I try something new. The owners are a joy and they've decorated their restaurant in such a thoughtful manner. They'll even be a beautiful outdoor patio coming soon. Totally worth a stop!

We had dinner here and are now eating the leftovers for breakfast. I wish we were here another day so we could go back. Every dish we ordered was top notch: hot, fresh, flavorful. We had the seafood pancake, vegetable-beef hot stone rice bowl, and jap-chae (Korean sweet potato glass noodles). A small salad and Korean style small bowls of... More

Each of us ordered Bento boxes: one chicken and one beef ribs. They were exceptionally good and the presentation was beyond our expectations. Kate did an excellent job of describing the six side dish appetizers that were favor bombs just before the meal. The Bento boxes contained plenty of delicious food ranging from tempura veggies to rice and potatoes to... More

I highly recommend this restaurant, very tasty and very good service. The new owners have been opened up about 3 months and are doing a superb job. I had the Rice bowl, the Kimchi Bibimbap with the hot bowl that turned the rice the crunchy texture on the bottom, the tempura and sampled some of my parent's beef bento box... More

My daughter and I pulled up to the motel after a long day of hiking and driving through the cascades. Due to a huge rain storm, we needed a dry room for the night. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Due to the late hour, we went to the Korean Grill - not appealing looking from the outside, but... More

My family and I were wondering around this rural town of Concrete, when we came across the only Korean restaurant in town. I was initially in disbelief, why would there be this foreign restaurant in such a rural small town? Surprisingly, the restaurant is owned by Koreans. We ate barbecued beef and pork. This came with an array of side... More

It is difficult to critique a restautant that is no longer in business, but it was mediocre at best when open. We ate there twice. For us, that was enough, but close friends liked it.

So, I stayed at the motel. It was really comfortable and the owners were nice. But the best part of my stay was probably the food at Sonny Bear's. I ate their pancakes and they were REALLY BIG and SUPER TASTY. I couldn't finish the pancakes. The pancake breakfast was $8.99 and came with 2 really big pancakes, 2 eggs,... More

Loved this cozy family run restaurant - the menu had some great choices: we had the hand breaded chicken fried steak, a thick "cowboy burger" with the works, and for dessert, homemade coconut cream pie. If you are anywhere in the vicinity, be sure to stop by for some great food!

This was the best surprise while driving the loop. Friendly clean with great food. Family friendly and welcoming. The owner even gave up better directions that allowed us to see more scenery. If you are doing a day drive and get hungry do not settle for less stop here. It is a great mix of American standards with some added... More
