The Birdsview diner is simply AMAZING. The staff is so sweet. We went here twice for dinner from the KOA in Concrete. The food was unbelievable, especially after hiking in North Cascades. Great drinks and a great vibe.
I was very upset about our order being messed up. We ordered a regular BLT and when we got our food the BLT was a grilled cheese! When my son brought it back the lady tried saying that's what we ordered when I clearly know...it wasn't. She asked me if I wanted it as some other special BLT they had. I said no and was charged for the regular/classic BLT. But the lady mad us pay again for the BLT. She never gave me my receipt to prove it. So I just paid the difference of what the cost was for the so called grilled cheese we "ordered". We will NOT ever come back. I'll make a point to go as far as concrete to get food if this is the only place open. I do NOT recommend coming here! You might be over charged for what you order.More
We are camping across the way. This location has had a few failed restaurants in the past. So happy to see the vibrant crowd and busy parking lot! I have now tried bacon mushroom burger, pesto chicken sandwich, fancy grilled cheese, steelhead omelet, shrimp basket...and fish and chips! Everything has been excellent. They are busy but you can't tell from the smiles on their faces! It looks magical at night. Wish we lived closer! I bet they will stay busy when peak season is over! Sorry for no pictures. We pretty much dive in when we get our food! I have heard nothing but positive things about the Birdsview Diner!More
Drove upriver to eat here and found the woman at the take out window with her mask below her nose and barely over her mouth. And then looking back into the kitchen the cook had no mask at all. They had signs up but were...not following them for themselves. The food was good but priceys.More

We camped at Grandy Creek over the weekend. We got takeout Friday for 8. Burgers & fries were excellent and the guys loved their fish and chips! Kids meals were enjoyed by the 4 boys. So good we orfered breakfast for 9 of us. Loved...the steelhead omelet and biscuits & gravy reminiscent of Iron Skillet! Menu has a bit of everything! Great tarter and ranch. Customer service is excellent. This will be a camping tradition!🍔🥓🍳More
If you're heading east or west on Hwy 20 over the North Cascades, plan to stop at Birdsview Diner for a meal or even just ice cream. We were there during the pandemic so it was only walk-up or drive-through service, but we enjoyed good...burgers, fries, fish & chips and ice cream. We were 3 generations so had to appease several appetites. Service was a touch slow but that's because they cook each meal to order. With indoor seating off limits they had plenty of tables available outside, some in sunshine, some in shade. We chose to drive to nearby Rasar State Park to eat our food. Prices are higher than fast food places but you pay for quality. My carnie burger was very good though I would have liked a seeded bun; even better, a whole grain bun with seeds! The jalapeño burger was deemed good but not quite hot enough; and the little ones liked the fish and vanilla ice cream.More
Driving around and enjoying scenery and fall colors. Decided to stop and try this place out. We used the drive through. What a nice surprise. We had already found place closer to town we love but this is yet another great burger joint. This will...make it difficult on choosing a place to eat.
I had a plain cheeseburger with fries, my wife a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Both were just fabulous. Mine was juicy, bun grilled as well. Hers was just delicious. Service was great to go with the good food.More
If you're camping at Baker Lake this place is super convenient, but even if it weren't it would be worth going here.
We ate here three times on a recent camping trip. True, there are few choices in the area, but the food is very...good. Burgers, fish sandwich, breakfast, all of it great and the portions are plentiful.
The outside area is a good option if you travel with your dog as we do.
Staff is very friendly as well.More
