This hidden gem in Northeast Washington is a local treasure! Whether for casual fare on the outside porch overlooking the bucolic Colville Valley or a full-on special occasion dinner, expect only the finest. Locally sourced foods and wines are exquisitely prepared, and the cuisine innovative and beautifully presented with fine unobtrusive but friendly service. Yes, cuisine even in the little... More

Why did we wait so long to enjoy Lovitt's unique dining experience. We'll be back soon. Lovitt delivered a memorable Valentines evening. The duck w/pancakes and lamb are a must. Find dining meal price points very fair, thanks for value $$ wine that our pallets can't tell the difference from the $$$$ bottles. It went with the meal perfectly.

The food is always local and supremely fresh. The views are expansive. The service is thoughtful, and unassuming. The location is a little bit hard to find...keep an eye out, or you will pass it by. Lovett's is not exactly in Colville, but between Chewelah and Colville - heading North it is on the right. There is a steep driveway... More

When we first moved to the area, we didn't expect to find fine cuisine. But this place proved us wrong. The Sixes (husband and wife team) put out some seriously good eats. My only criticisms are that candied brussle sprouts tend to accompany most dishes and that they follow the obnoxios idea that fresh pepper only belongs on salads (why... More

Food was great and serve excellent. An exceptional dining experience at an old Victorian farm house. Only issue is that the restaurant is for sale. Hope if it sells the new owners will have just as good of food and use local sources for their menu.

We discovered this restaurant and I had 10 years earlier about the Chef and his wife on the Food Network they had a small but popular restaurant in Chicago, IL and come to find out that Chef was from the area and he wanted to return to his roots. The menu is great and they use local meats and produce... More

After a few months of being closed, (purely for family reasons) Lovitt is back in business, but now with another family member in the house!! Nothing has changed, food is as someone pointed out different. Yes its not your normal steak and fries of frozen accompaniments (go down the road to the South Side grill, as someone suggested its superior... More

In Eastern WA. Local gourmet food done right. Norman is a genius on the smoker. Food is thoughtful, and they encourage you to take the time to savor the food and your company.

We have been to Lovitt a couple times this fall, both times enjoying great meals. They held a Jazz Brunch on a Sunday a couple weeks ago, an annual fundraising event. The menu and food were excellent along with the jazz trio. We really enjoy the old farmhouse. It is well worth the hour long drive from Grand Forks, BC... More
