I have never had a bad experience. The wait staff is kind and friendly, and the food is wonderful. Sometimes the wait time is a little long, but that is just because they are so popular!

What a lovely place! We stayed just around the corner from Hi-Lo's and went in for breakfast. Had the Breakfast Burrito and it was fantastic and really filling. The staff are super friendly and the cafe has a colourful and fun interior and there is also a table in VW van outsite!

Breakfast is the best here, especially their green eggs and ham! Get here early because they fill up quick. Luckily they have a great waiting room, and the food is worth the wait.

Our first time there, so we needed guidance on self-serve coffee and the waiting room (well-equipped for entertaining kids). Advice was cheerfully provided by the adorable servers. The coffee and food were good. Husband had the moon biscuits and we agreed we'd prefer either the crisp of waffles or the usual texture of biscuits, but hey, you gotta try it... More

We visited Hi-Lo's for breakfast during a to Bremerton last week. They were full, so Randy offered to seat is in the heated VW Bus outside. He then treated us like royalty! The food was very good! The VW Bus seating was so fun and the service was impeccable! Thanks Randy!

Neighborhood hot spot, off the main roads, but usually crowded on weekends. Great coffee and some unusual items on simple menu.

Waffle pattern biscuits and gravy (genius) chorizo eggs and home fries. Grab your own coffee cup from a hook, and fill up on great food friendly folk and as much grateful dead memorabilia as your eyes can absorb. If you find yourself hungry and on the Kitsap peninsula swing by, you won't regret it.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was worth the wait (but if you don't want to do that, get there before 8 am.) Self serve coffee was good, if tough to get to as the cafe is a little cramped. My moon biscuits were great, and the servings are generous. Cute place, okay waitstaff. I'd definitely go back and try lunch or... More

Hi-Lo's (Heidi & Lowell) opened in this Bremerton neighborhood about the same time we moved here. They were new, they were funky, they were friendly, The menu was interesting with very reasonable prices. In 10 years, they are still the same funky, friendly establishment with just about the same menu. My favorite is the Grateful bowl, brown rice with cheese... More

My veggie burger was great and the wife had a green salad that was good. The waitress was fiull of energy, almost to much, who ended everyone's meal with a tune from one of the two gazoos clipped onto her pig tails. The small resteraunt had a cute collection of thermos and even an old Volkswagen that you could have... More
