We had an excellent table when my husband took me here for my birthday last month. Server was awesome as was the steak. The lobster tail was OK. Crab cakes were delicious. The biggest problem was our neighbors phone kept binging every time he got...More

Unbeatable view, relaxed but nice vibe, great service and food. A tad pricey - but that's how all places with views are? Fun to look out over the oyster beds you are eating from. Great wine selection. This place is always a treaet.

We were so thrilled that Oyster Bar was open again so that we could take our son and daughter-in-law there for a birthday celebration. We wondered how it would feel to go back into a restaurant--would we feel safe? Could we still have a similar...More

I and friends visit here about six times a year. Living about 90 minutes south means fewer visits than if we lived much closer. Been going here since the current ownership arrived and converted a basic chips and chowder place in the late 1960s. The...More

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We stopped in on a Thursday at 11:30 and were the first people there for lunch. We had our choice of tables and ended up being alone for our entire lunch. Excellent service as usual. Gorgeous view. The...More

The excellent service was only overshadowed by the chefs amazing creations. The food was exceptional albeit the oysters were milky when served in August. They should have not been served. That was the only shortcoming of the entire experience. I highly recommend this place.

We were here for the 3rd time and are still enjoying the stunning view and the excellent food. It has all the makings of a great restaurant and all the food is a pleasant surprise.

We have made the trip down Chuckanut Drive several times this year to go to the Oyster Bar. We have been going there for over 30 years although it is now under new management. The building is on a cliff overlooking the San Juan islands....More
