Headed down to Bow for breakfast and ended up at this nice home style restaurant. super pleasant people, nice and cozy. I had a spud scramble that was delicious.

We stopped for lunch at the only restaurant that was open at the time and saw just one other car car parked there when we pulled in. We chose a table outside as it was a nice day and enjoyed the view of Edison across the nice flower boxes. All of a sudden more people showed up and it appears... More

We were regulars at the Edison Cafe since we are locals until it was sold, the food USED TO BE amazing along with the service. We've gone back a couple times to try out the new owner, dissapointed everytime. Food comes cold and tastes like Pam cooking spray. The service was crummy and since its a small place (seats less... Used to be amazing, but our last visit was a huge let down. Food for four took 40 minutes, even in an almost empty restaurant, and even then one meal wasn't ready and took another 5 minutes. Service was dismal. No smiles, no apology for the long wait or the food not coming up together, no quality check. Food was... More

The Edison Cafe has been a local treasure for over 70 years. Several owners have had a hand in making this a favored spot for the most delicious breakfasts and lunches. The new owners have continued the tradition of great food and you're sure to find what you want in their full menu. My wife and I love it here;... More

The cafe is very small (about 8 tables/booths & a half dozen bar stools), but it feels homey and comfortable. It was jammed when we were there, so service was slow -- more from the kitchen than the server. My grilled ham & swiss on sourdough was excellent, with really good ham and cooked nicely. The servings of fries are... More

We have had breakfast at this tiny, home-style place a couple of times. It is a friendly, no frills sort of place with a limited menu, but adequate. The cinnamon roll was tasty but plain (no nuts or raisins) and was served warm with a choice of butter or frosting. The colorful diced spud scramble included bacon, spinach, tomatoes, etc.... More

Wonderfully different breakfasts and sandwhiches- soup and salads worth a try. Don't be thrown off by the décor- the food is high-end, fresh and very creative. Great coffee, great service, always something new to try. If this restaurant was down the block, my husband would never has a homemade lunch! It also is very reasonably priced.
