We stopped here to see the town and get a snack for our trip home. What a selection! We got some chocolate shortbread cookies and coffee to go. Then we wandered around the interesting little town. There were Vintage stores, Art Galleries, Woodworking - so...much packed in a couple of block of this delicious bakery!More

Everything today was handled through a corner open window vending situation. Smells awesome, substantive line waiting to purchase baked goods to eat on the street and take home.

We drove out here on our way from Anacortes to Fairhaven. Very nice little store. Can't go inside right now, you order at the window. Be sure and look at what you want ahead of time so you don't hold up anyone in line. Very...good bread! And their rolls were good as well. If you don't want to drive here, there are also a the Anacrotes Farmers market on Saturdays.More

We enjoyed the trip to Edison from Bellingham using Chuckanut Drive. The views along the way were spectacular. Edison, often attributed to Bow, Washington for some odd reason, is an unspoiled, charming village with galleries, shops, bars, and food emporiums. There isn't much yet, which...adds to Edison's charm. One of the focal points is the Breadfarm, an excellent bakery with a national reputation. During Covid, there is a limited selection, but everything tasted delicious. Of course we went "overboard," purchasing a baguette, seven grain bread, Kugen, and cookies. They were all good. Fantastic? It's as good as what we munch on in Seattle, but nothing can top the boulangeries in Paris. We be spoiled. However, the Breadfarm was a fun excursion.More

Breadfarm is a must-stop in Bow/Edison. Window is open for orders then goods are placed on the table outside. Fine loaves, amazing pastries, sweet macaroon delights, cookies all worth the price. Service was quick, staff friendly.

Whenever we visit the Skagit Valley, we make a pilgrimage to this wonderful, authentic and locally sourced bakery. It is great to see the team of bakers at work and always delicious to taste their creations. From the macaroons to the baguettes and everything in...between, the Breadfarm is a local treasure.More

Man I love this place, don't even mind the cash only policy. I don't come enough but truly believe that this is the best place to get bread in the county.

This place came highly recommended, and it was indeed amazing. So many choices! I ended up buying a small loaf of wheat bread and a package of chocolate ginger spice cookies. We were not told about the card when you get a free loaf after...purchasing 12. Have cash or check ready - no credit cards. There were about 4 or 5 bakers busy behind the counters getting more bread ready for baking. No place to sit.More

Friends and I make this a "must stop" during our almost monthy trips to the area. The bakery offerings vary a bit each day, as to products available. Samish Potato bread, Monster Wheat, olive bread, rolls, sweet treats a plenty. I am a "crardholder" so...after 12 loaves purchased, the 13th is free. One can find their products for sale at other outlets in the Skagit area (see their website). Special holiday goods tied to Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving. Breads are mostly baased on sourdough.More

Small bakery in a small town. Amazing choices. We loved the black olive baguette. Also very savory delicate graham crackers. We saved the Pumpkin Brioche and the the Macaroon for later. All delicious and fresh.
