I have been coming to the C-Shop since I was 5 years old. So for 35 years I have enjoyed ice creams in the summer and cinnamon buns - a tradition and favourite. And yes, I'm a Canadian - as you can tell by "favourite" versus "favorite". So if you're travelling every year to a favourite spot it better be... More

This is a popular and long-standing Birch Bay Business famous for its molded chocolates. Skip the popcorn it is really stale. I think they also sell ice cream, but candy is the main attraction.

One of the morning tasks for our crew is to check the popcorn and make a fresh batch if we're out or it has declined in quality. Of course, sometimes the opening rush can delay that job. This could lead to a situation where an unwitting customer becomes the tester. If this is you, please let us know! Popcorn is... More

We have been coming here for years, the quality, service and ambience remains of yesteryear. I vacationed here as a teenager, with my children and now my grandchikdren. The C Shop is always a go to place with every visit. Love their ice cream and pizza's but trying the chocolates is a must.

The homemade candies are great - my favorite is the white chocolate peanut butter bars. Melt in your mouth delicious. My son loves the sea snakes - toasted coconut on homemade marshmallow with licorice for red tongue. The ice crème is delicious with picnic tables to eat at outside.

We love this place. Our kids ride their bikes here from our campsite and get Snow Cones and ice cream. The homemade fudge and chocolate is awesome, but my favourite thing EVER is their cinnamon buns, especially the pecan ones. Great friendly staff too!

Not available until 11. People line up. The cinnamon rolls are great, but would be better at 8! Many other pastries. Maybe breakfast item - we were not looking. Seating available.

After one of our walks we include a trip to the C for something. Usually it is ice cream, but their sandwiches are filling and tasty. Stay away from the Cinnamon Rolls. After they close in early fall for the winter, along about November I start thinking a craving the Roll and continues right up until they open their doors... More

Like so many visiting Birch Bay over the years, the C Shop is a must-do everytime. In the morning we pass through for a coffee and amazing sticky buns. At night, we choose from an assortment of ice cream cones. This is an iconic building/business that has been in Birch Bay many years before we started coming (40 years ago).... More

Description
*The Candy Shop and The Cafe will open again May 12th!* From Jelly Belly beans to elegant filled bonbons, homemade marshmallow sea snakes to hand-molded chocolates, snow cones to hard ice cream cones, and cotton candy to carmel apples, The C Shop Candy Shop most certainly has a sweet to suit all tastes. Enjoy your treat while you chat with the candymakers as he or she makes our homemade carmel and peanut brittle in a copper candy kettle, pops corn in the gas-fired popper, and whips marshmallow and divinity into shape. Learn about our fascinating antique candy-making equipment that is used to make all of our goodies and, if your timing is just right, there's often a sample of fudge making its way outside just for you. If you're in the mood for something more substantial, The C Shop Cafe & Pizzeria is ready to take your order. In the morning, you might want one of our famous cinnamon rolls or sticky buns with a cup of fresh-brewed coffee. Our bakers are baking up something delicious every morning, and Patrick roasts 100% Colombian beans to his own exacting specifications several times a week. Lunch could be a deli sandwich made to order on our home-baked bread. Or try salad and homemade clam chowder on the side or for a lighter bite. You are saving room for an afternoon snack of a banana split, sundae, milk shake, malt or ice cream cone, aren't you? It's just what you want to cool off on a warm day at the beach. Don't forget pizza! We've worked hard to refine our recipes for our homemade dough, sauce, and freshly grated cheese blend, and have carefully selected high quality toppings. Choose from our signature pies or have your own favorite combination.
