Black Diamond Bakery has wonderful breakfasts all day for hearty appetites! (They have a full menu of other food, as well.) They offer great, friendly service and a full array of baked good. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Rainier from their large picture window or back patio. It's the perfect stop on the way from Seattle to... More

Great breakfast place. They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and start you off with a half Peach and a mini Blueberry muffin. The people that run it a very friendly along with everyone else that works there. As you can probably tell by the name, they have an excellent bakery as well with anything from fresh bread, to pies, to some... More

The pastries are great, they have some of the best bear claws ever. Doughnuts that look like cupcakes are great. I like the candy they sell too like english toffee. Service can be a little slow due to people unable to make up their minds. Would love to see a German rye bread made here.

Everytime I come to the Seattle area, my trip is not complete without a meal at the Black Diamond Bakery. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. The food is delicious and the view of Mount Ranier out their window is phenomenal. Every time I have the Reuben sandwich although there are many wonderful things on their menu. The bakery... More

My 1st visit; forest views en route & at bakery as serene & lush as any I have seen in Wisconsin. Staff slammed w/ visitors & locals; yet composed through it all.. Breakfasts are large & very good. Only improvement could be in the fruit bowl; otherwise, absolutely worth revisiting.

It's known for its great breakfasts and super pastries. The owner is friendly and the service is very good. On Sat & Sun it's a bicyclists' hotspot with great road rides in every direction from Black Diamond. It makes a nice stopping point for coffee and carbs in the middle of a 30, 50 or 100-mile ride.

We stopped here after staying at the Anchor D ranch west of Turner Valley. We had read about this bakery in a local tourist magazine and it did not disappoint. The coffee I had there was delicious, and the raisin/walnut cookie was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside and full of flavour.Totally yummy. I would totally return to... More

This is a quaint, homey restaurant that reflects the small town it occupies. Nice view and a nice deck during the summer. If it's breakfast time, or you're dying for a good cookie or donut, then this is a good choice for you. Pros: * Above average quality for breakfast food. Recommend the omelets and the chicken fried steak. *... More
