My 1st visit; forest views en route & at bakery as serene & lush as any I have seen in Wisconsin. Staff slammed w/ visitors & locals; yet composed through it all.. Breakfasts are large & very good. Only improvement could be in the fruit bowl; otherwise, absolutely worth revisiting.

It's known for its great breakfasts and super pastries. The owner is friendly and the service is very good. On Sat & Sun it's a bicyclists' hotspot with great road rides in every direction from Black Diamond. It makes a nice stopping point for coffee and carbs in the middle of a 30, 50 or 100-mile ride.

We stopped here after staying at the Anchor D ranch west of Turner Valley. We had read about this bakery in a local tourist magazine and it did not disappoint. The coffee I had there was delicious, and the raisin/walnut cookie was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside and full of flavour.Totally yummy. I would totally return to... More

This is a quaint, homey restaurant that reflects the small town it occupies. Nice view and a nice deck during the summer. If it's breakfast time, or you're dying for a good cookie or donut, then this is a good choice for you. Pros: * Above average quality for breakfast food. Recommend the omelets and the chicken fried steak. *... More

I was looking for a restaurant to try near us for my birthday. I saw reviews pop up for The Black Diamond Bakery and decided we would try it. Yesterday afternoon we went for lunch. Parking lot was pretty full (I don't base my options on this as we've been fooled by full parking lots before)but we found a space.... More

I've been here many times over the years. I feel their best menu is breakfast and then lunch. Good parking and enjoy the pastries down the hall. Good area to stretch the legs a little and see a few of the local sights.

We really loved the omelets and enjoyed the fresh-baked bakery items. Also on a side note, once you order, they bring over 2 plates. One has a homemade muffin, the other, looks like a large egg, but is in fact a half peach. Our waitress had a hearty, yet good natured, laugh at us when our eyes opened wide thinking... More

This is hands down the best breakfast experience I have ever had. We were the first customers in. We had an unobstructed view of Mt Rainier. It was incredible and breathtaking. Jean was our host for the morning and she was amazing! She is incredibly warming and personable. Coffee was delish and strong, of course. They offer a half peach... More

If it were just the meal, I would recommend it anyway. Whether you are out for country drive, a visit to one of the many fantastic parks in the area, a history tour of the Cascade foothills or a long bicycle ride, STOP HERE! The food is great; lots of veggies, terrific Prime Rib, ooooooh, did I miss the Halibut... More
