Out for a day of shopping and geocaching. Lunchtime rolled up, and we realized we didn't have breakfast. Looked up places, and this one came up with good reviews, so we tried it. Had a very nice lunch out of the heat.

Our first visit to The Filling Station was wonderful. We were greeted cheerfully and seated in less than a minute. Our waitress was great and she juggled hostessing, bartending, waitressing, and bussing without missing a beat. We ordered cheeseburgers which were quite delicious and the...curled fries, also delicious. Service was fast, but not rushed. We look forward to returning soon.More

Shelled out $50+ for a couple of burgers, fries and a salad. Delivered to our hotel. No napkins, no ketchup, no fork for the salad. (have you ever eaten a Ceasar salad with your fingers?). Assumed they would be included, because there is nowhere on...their website to ask for those things. Called the manager. He just wanted to get off the phone ASAP. Food was good, but run by morons.More

Asked the waiter on 3 occasions to turn the heat up , it was 35 degrees, every customer was wearing a coat while trying to eat , even our feet were cold ,is the owner too cheap to turn on the heat , we will...never come back , there’s lots of restaurants in downtown Bellingham, sent them a email & of course no responseMore

The burgers are great at the filling station and date I say not at all expensive. Beer on draught also great. The decor is fun and the waitress very cheerful.

Haven't been here for a couple of years with the land border closure so now that we are able to come south we get to reacquaint ourselves with some familiar places. My wife had the Adonis chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. My standard burger...- part of combo #2 was more than adequate and showed the difference between fast food burger joints and something made properly and with care. We have yet to try the Filling Station in Fairhaven but hope to be as happy there as the mid town location. My wife's Boundary Bay Amber beer choice was a real hit too.More

We came in for a drink and had two while watching an unfortunate Huskies game. The bartender was fantastic and shared his knowledge and creativity with us! While my husband stuck with his traditional beverage, I was glad that I branched out to first try...their hot toddy and then their Smokin’ Banana drink - I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the mescal tequila! The food looked and smelled fantastic, we will definitely come back for a more thorough experience during our next visit!More

My husband and I randomly stopped here on our drive from Seattle to Canada and it was a great lunch. I love a thinner burger and these were just what I love. I ordered the classic with fried for $7 and paid $2 to add...bacon. I was not able to finish my food as it was more than enough. My husband ordered the classic with fries with an oreo shake for $11 and added an extra patty for $2 as he likes a little more meat on his burgers and he ate the entire burger plus the rest of mine. Service was great as well. Would stop here again.More

Highly recommended for a burger. We had both takeout and dine-in (because you’ll want it again!). Both experiences were fast and efficient. They have a new patio, which seemed popular. The Chuckwagon is THE BEST!. Fries are good as well. Also impressed with the side...salad, it was better than most burger restaurants!More

Absolutely great burgers and fries. The decor is like an old gas station, very nostalgic. The servers fast and nice. I love that place! Go orders done nicely, too!

My niece and her friend drove all the way from West Seattle last night to meet me at The Filling Station because we love this place! I very rarely eat meat, and this is the ONLY place that can tempt me to eat a burger....(I get the El Camino). And the "tire treads" are the best fries I have ever had - PERFECTLY crunchy on the outside, PERFECTLY soft on the inside, and perfectly salted. Then there are the fried pickles - we made a convert to those last night. Meagan was our waitress, and made the evening even more special. Thanks Meagan!!More

Great burger, great tap beers and friendly service but more importantly, since the world has lost it’s mind over coronavirus, the level of conscious proactive cleaning is impressive.

We stopped at the Filling Station in Fairhaven on the way to Canada and on the way back a couple days later. It is that good. You may think it is just a burger joint but their food is so delicious I hesitate to call...it that. I had the Volt salad both times, it honestly may have been the best salad I have ever had. My husband had the mustang burger convertible style (on a bed of mixed greens) and he also had it both times because it was that good! My husband is allergic to gluten and dairy so a few alterations were needed but there was no fuss made at all. Their regular fries have gluten so we opted for their other fries..maybe shoestring? I don't remember what they called them, but they are gluten free. I would go there again, no hesitation.More

Had to come to Fairhaven for an appointment & needed a spot to eat lunch. Happy to have picked this place. I rarely eat burgers because I can't ask for the meat to be medium-rare. Nice venue with tables overlooking the water. And lots to...see on every wall. Had the Mustang Burger...messy but yummy. Suggest you get a towel from the loo & wet it to wipe your hands. They do supply a fairly hearty napkin. Had the Tequila Cocktail...good but rather small for $10. Would love to come back & have one of the Boozy Shakes.More

We started with the Piston Poppers....cheesy spicy goodness. These put the Buffalo Blasters at the cheesecake factory to shame and I love me some Buffalo Blasters. These now my go too starter and I will have to be convinced to share. I had The Lariat...burger ...I cannot describe this burger and do it any justice. I am at a lost for words for the sheer amazing burger experience that I had. This is MUST try burger place. Have had a few friends now try and all love as well. I am looking forward to my next trip and having another amazing burger,More
