Too cool local coffee shop. Makes a stranger feel like a long time Bellingham settler. I was supposed to bike around town but once settled really enjoyed seeing people just come and go with hugs and smiles and babies bouncing on knees.

Cute little coffee shop with really nice staff. We walked right in to order and shortly after there was a small crowd wanting to get in on the espresso. I ordered a lavendar mocha. It was really good and super interesting. I highly recommend!

Well the coffee was good, but after I ordered and sat down to wait I heard the baristas (both gentleman) mocking me for looking like a "cookie cutter." One time customer, never to return!

I've been suggested by my friend as I always tried coffee in some different places here in Bellingham. I can say coffee here are mostly taste too much water, or sugar, or taste nothing. I came from Indonesia, one of the countries who supply coffee worldwide, and maybe my expectation about coffee is different because I used to get coffee... More

True, I know the folks that run it, but that is part of the appeal of this great coffee house in Bellingham. At the corner of Grand and Champion Streets, the Black Drop has free dopio Fridays (but, please, don't forget to tip your barristas--sheesh), and a wide array of delicious mocha variations and fancy tea drinks. Now, yippee!, they've... More

My family loves the Drop! In a nice central location near the Mount Baker Theater, this famliy-owned shop serves some of the best coffee around. They're constantly evolving their delicious menu, offer seasonal drinks, and since they're so close to the theater, sometimes you MIGHT be able to catch a celebrity before their show. They're also super committed to their... More

We make a point of ALWAYS stopping at the Black Drop Cafe whenever we are in or passing by Bellingham. Yes, it is worth a diversion off the I5 just to get a cup of coffee, I kid you not. Our all-time favorite is one of the house specialty lattes, the Level 10 Fireball, a 'Chipotle Breve Mocha', but I... More

While walking around downtown Bellingham, WA we came across the Black Drop and decided to have a coffee drink. We ordered the Black Widow and OMG it was deliciously decadent, rich and creamy all at the same time. It is a strong coffee drink but being WA natives, that's all we drink. Enjoy!
