The most authentic Indian restaurant in town. Friendly and very attentive staff. I like that they ensured customer satisfaction every time. I have been here for the buffets before and I really like the variety that they carry. Chai is perfectly spiced, naan is never...burnt or cold unlike my experience with other buffets, and they use good quality rice for their biriyanis. Also, unlike other restaurants, the sauce base do not all taste similar because I could actually see the variety of proper ingredients in them. Both service and quality has been consistently good.More

Kindest family, tastiest food. Perfect for vegans! The flavors and authenticity of this restaurant are why I love this place. They have really fun holiday events (go for Valentine’s Day!) and always make sure their guests find what they’re looking for. The restaurant is beautifully...decorated and has lofty high ceilings. Amazing value for the lunch buffet! Definitely my favorite in Bellingham restaurant for Indian food.More

My friend and I were looking for some decent Indian food and this place was rated well. We were surprised when we arrived on a Sunday evening and the place was empty. There were signs that the crowd at lunch was substantial, but it took...time for the older gentleman to even come out and seat us. The vegetable pakoras were good, and the eggplant and aloo gobi were great with the garlic naan and roti. My guess is the place is crowded for the lunch buffet, but empty for dinner.More

After some time away, my partner and I decided to try more India Grill. We loved it the first time and we thought we'd check in while visiting downtown. The owner greeted us right away even though it seemed a little busy. We split an...order of the tandoori mix and IT WAS AMAZING. Just the right level of spice, and it was perfectly complemented by the fresh naan. Also, if I could, I would eat their vegetarian samosas everyday for the rest of my life.More

The best rice pudding I have ever had, very unique. A lot of other healthy food that makes me feel good. The balsmati rice is also exclusive to the restaurant. Worth going to eat. Has an $8.95 all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that is unbeatable

Every time I step into India Grill, I get a sense of relaxation and relief. The comfort level is at a high note. I’m always greeted with the same friendly gesture and welcomed as if it was my home. Although I come in with just...the need to eat, I forget to think about hydration. I don’t even have to ask, and water is poured into a cup, before I can request a soda or a Chai Tea. It’s lovely to know that I’m accommodated before I’m accommodated. It’s great to enter a restaurant or a place of business and have the people there know exactly what to recommend, their top picks, best selections, etc. I’m a basic and minimal person so I tend to go for the Butter Chicken with a side of Lamb Spinach. I’ve never had a fascinated pallet for spinach, but the lamb cooked in soaks with the spinach and all the juices just sync perfectly to create a stunning appetizer. To go, I took a Chicken Tandoori order (mainly for the yogurt, Raita), which compliments almost any homemade salad – and the delicious salad at the restaurant. Whole hardheartedly, I can say that this place met my expectations and even rose above it a little. I look forward to continually eating here with my friends and showing my family this lovely place. Food is pretty average. Decor could be more welcoming. Probably a good place for a change - visiting from Vancouver Canada, we have had better India food.

India Grill has been my go-to at the Bellingham farmers market this year and that refreshing mango lassi kept me happy all summer! The owner is always so kind and it is clear that he's passionate about creating quality food for people to enjoy. They...also have great options for both vegetarians and meat-lovers alike! The warm and comforting food season is upon us and I so look forward digging into more India Grill samosas in all their flavorful saucesMore

My girlfriend and I wanted to explore different options for sit down restaurants in downtown Bellingham and were excited for India Grill. We were promptly seated and taken care of the whole time, and the chicken Tikka masala was mind blowing. The owner brought out...some fresh naan for us to compliment the meal and I couldn't believe how right he was. He also informed us that their veggies are all bought locally at the farmers market on trade, which was awesome to hear. I can't recommend this place enough for any couple.More
