It took me two tries to get here, but the wait was definitely worth it! One adult and five college students enjoyed the unique Eggs Benedict, the Challah French Toast special, and the breakfast crepe (pictured). Everyone loved his/her food (and I loved the Vanilla Chai). I look forward to returning!

Instead of a plain ole English muffin, benny is served on a waffle. Great fried potatoes. Excellent coffee. Plan on a wait!

We ordered three different eggs Benedict and loved them all. Eggs on top of a yeasty waffle? Oh, yeah! The Hollandaise sauce was perfect--balanced and tart while still rich and delicious. The eggs were poached just right. Good coffee, yummy mocha and tasty earl grey lattes completed the hearty breakfast. It was definitely worth the wait. Note--this restaurant is small... More

Okay folks. You are visiting Bellingham's little gem called Fairhaven distrist, and you are wondering..."Hmmm, where can we get a good breakfast without going downtown?" This is it. It's another location of the same great food. Easy to find and just as yummy. It is call Mount Bakery Fairhaven. Ya gotta love the 'benny' options. Whew, my tastebuds are working... More

After living in Bellingham for 10 years and only ever experiencing the baked goods to go from Mount Bakery, we finally visited the new cafe in Fairhaven which serves the same menu as the downtown location. We went two days in a row for breakfast - that's how good it is. The hollandaise was the best I've ever tasted and... More

Visiting Bellingham for the first time and was recommended by local friends that "Mount Bakery Cafe" was the place to go for breakfast, pastries, coffee, lunch, and just great people that work there! Highly recommend the Portobello Benny, it comes on top of a Belgium waffle. Really good!

You have to try the Moliere! It is espresso and choclate like you have never had before. The smoked salmon benny melts in your mouth. I hate to do this but I feel I have to mention there cobwebs in the corners and the railing behind our table needed a good wipe down.

Very unique eggs benedict, in that they are served on a waffle instead of a muffin. Vegetarian, traditional, smoked salmon or crab with generous amounts of homemade hollandaise sauce. Served with roasted potatoes. Yum! My partner had the crepe special for the day, she loved it. Very popular, be prepared to wait for a table.

Unfortunately they were undergoing a remodel when we were there, but the staff was very friendly and the pastries were good. Hope to make it back for one of their 'real" breakfasts.
