This little place is a food lovers paradise that seeks to indulge you without the “over the top” opulence and snobbery of lesser-known restaurants. Quietly understated, like a cottage tucked away in the woods, the food is fresh and locally sourced as much as possible. The various dishes change frequently in step with the season’s bounty. Its atmosphere is muted,... More

The Fork has the best, most interesting food in Bellingham (outside of The Willows, which is really expensive). The atmosphere is somewhat zen-like, but comfortable and elegant. The service has been very good every single time we've been there. It's a bit of a trek around the lake to get there from the main part of the city, but so... More

We like going here for breakfast and dinners. It is outside the city near Lake Whatcom. The food is absolutely incredible. Service is awesome. The Wood Stone oven adds even more to the already quant atmosphere. There are always good beers on tap and an excellent wine selection.

Took the drive out to the Fork restaurant...and glad we did....My wife had the Spaetzle dish and I had the country fried steak...Both were outstanding, flavored to perfection , prepared perfectly and served quickly....Can not say enough about the flavors of both dishes, they left you wanting more.......

Been meaning to go forever (from Bellingham). Finally got the family there and it certainly lived up to expectations. Great menu, service and reasonable prices plus awesome breakfast served until 2pm. I bit of a drive out of town but worth it!

We stopped on the way to a lovely walk along Whatcom Lake. I had the burger with grilled onions and goat cheese. It included a very good garnish of pickles, lettuce and tomato - as well as excellent fries. It was all very good! My wife had the portobello sandwich with an excellent side of salad and garnish. She was... More

What a gem hidden off in a land far, far away. Great service & interesting, unique menu. The shrimp & grits is the best I've had away from the Georgia/South Carolina coast. And the lamb "lollipops" finally gave be license to gnaw tasty meat off the bone. I'll be back next time I'm in B'ham.

Agate Bay hides this gem of a spot to eat. We enjoy it for breakfast on the weekends or evening dinners. Great for a date or a group. They fill growlers too. Take a walk at North Lake Whatcom trail, then have a great meal. The shrimp and grits are a favorite. Sit in front of a Wood Stone oven... More

Made reservation for 6:00pm, arrived at 5:55, hostess couldn't find reservation, it was in the book for the next day, (a couple who came in shortly after us also had made a reservation that morning which was screwed up) waited 15 minutes and she found a table in the bar section. She seated us and we waited 10 minutes for... More
