Ah, buckwheat crepes (gluten free). Be still my heart. And in a cute little restaurant. It (the crepe, not the restaurant) was large and tasty, open face, folded into a square. It was the thinnest crepe I have ever seen, such that it was actually crisp around the edges. We like going to Fairhaven area of Belligham and walking around,... More

Very cozy spot with wonderful food. Wish we'd tried it for dinner instead of just coffee and a crepe.

To be fair to the establishment, I am only reviewing the gluten free #25 Avocado, salmon, zucchini crepe I had. I have a sophisticated palate, Andy opinion of the dish I ordered is that it needs improvement. The crepe itself was so see thru thin and crispy, it was not tasty at all. The ingredients were not well selected and... More

I've eaten here about a dozen times. Each time there is about 3-4 other people in the restaurant so it's quiet and we get very fast service. The chia latte is the best and I have never been disappointed with my food. I always look forward to going back

My wife and I love this place! The crepes are amazing and the coffee is delicious. I recommend the little french press and one of their savory options. You won't be disappointed!

Went into this place only having looked at the reviews, and man did they deliver. Crepes were delicious and fresh, doesnt get any better than this on a cold Bellingham day! They even had some handmade pottery for sale :)

Delicious crepes, both savory and sweet, and great coffee, too! The atmosphere is charming and it's right in the heart of Fairhaven!

I visited friends in Bellingham 11/15 and they took me to Magdalena's Creperie in Fairhaven for lunch. Loved it from the moment I walked in... The beautiful pictures on the wall did not exaggurate the look and taste of what we ordered. Special sauteed apple crepes for me and cabage stew and pork sandwiches for my friends with an assortment... More

What a pleasant surprise we had today in Fairhaven! I was visiting from Seattle and we decided to try some place new for both of us (she lives in the area). What a great find!! We both ordered different savory crepes and my chai latte was delicious!! We will definitely return!!

Description
We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.
