We, by unguided exploration, discovered Historic Fairhaven District of Bellingham; and then I picked up a map of restaurants in the area....and there are MANY. The draw for Magdalena's was the brochure that mentioned there is Polish soup served at this restaurant. If you have...More

Lunch/brunch with a friend. I ordered the special crepe of the day- mushroom, spinach and cheese with other fresh veggies and arugula on a buckwheat crepe; friend ordered the #23- Pork, mozzarella, mushrooms, scallions, and horseradish sauce topped with greens and dressing. We both had...More

We were hungry after exploring Chuckanut Drive and we stumbled upon Magdalena’s. Unfortunately, we could not try the pierogies or crepes due to being on a Keto diet. But, the salads that we ordered with adding excellent smoked salmon were spot on.

Very disappointing. Overpriced, overrated and tables for two so small there's no room for the food, let alone drinks and coffee pot. Crepes aren't soft or foldable, taste burnt and so overdone they simply crumble before you can get the contents in your mouth. I...More

My friend knows the owner, so we went in there to see the place. We went back to eat there twice! They have gluten-free and regular crepes, delicious soups, some traditional Polish dishes, a really nice menu.

We enjoyed a Saturday morning breakfast and it was delicious. We also loved the Polish pottery cups and plates. We got some perogies to take home for dinner.
