My husband and I have gone here several times for breakfast and brunch. The food is always great and the service is friendly. The wait may be a while during the busy times because it's not a big restaurant and the food isn't fast, but it'll be worth it when you get in.

My grandmother is Czech and makes perogi that is out of this world. I had never tasted perogi so good until I visited Magdalenas. The entire meal was ingredient based, so yummy and homemade. The Cappuccinos were perfect. I Wish Magdalena lived in California too!

Magdalena's is wonderful. The savory and sweet crepes are amazing. Lath portions and they offer the choice of buckwheat crepes to make them gluten free!! The staff is very helpful and the restaurant as a whole is very quick and efficient. Highly recommend!

I found this after searching for gluten free dining in Bellingham and I am happy I stopped in. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping with an order. The crepe I had (buckwheat) was very tasty. Not as fluffy as I would have liked, but no gluten, so no surprise there. The location is cute and there are some... More

Lots of options for fillings, savoury, and sweet. We tried the savoury baked crepes and they were delicious. Don’t skip out on the pirogies they are amazing. Maybe the best i’ve ever tried. We will be return guests.

The owner's skill as a chef brings patrons a unique menu each day. The food reflects her European heritage and my only complaint is that they aren't open for dinner too! Breakfast and savory crepes are delicious, soups very good and satisfying. Nice atmosphere, small and cozy...

Crepes were good but descriptions sounded better than the taste. No refills on coffee. Several of the crepes were too crispy, more like a thin potato chip rather than a crepe.

We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.
