I popped in late afternoon for an onion soup and Reuben sandwich. Absolutely first class food casual friendly cafe that you need to visit in Old Bellevue on Main Street.

This place is warm , friendly and so inviting. The menu is fantastic for breakfast and lunch a really nice Jewish style deli with hot pastrami, lox and matzo ball soup. Simple but nice ... Kiwi's come here you will love it. Think I'll come for lunch later today too.

The portions really are huge. My Reuben was delicious and half would have been plenty for lunch, so I took half home. The potato salad was nice with big chunks of spud. My wife had a bagel sandwich that was nice as well. Prices are high for sure, but the food is really good. We will definitely stop there again... More

I love their eggs and scrambles. They have great coffee and the feel of the place is always upbeat and the place is very spacious. I have really enjoyed being here. (Daily). Having traveled for 22 months in Europe and returning to the USA, this place was like my family members in Bellevue and I will miss them all. Their... More

Fresh bagels, fresh ingredients in their omelets. Hugh portions of home style potatoes. But very good flavor and filing. A little on the expensive side but worth coming in.

Gilbert's is a Main street fixture, with generous and delicious breakfasts, tasty soups and a variety of sandwiches. Tables on the sidewalk make it an enjoyable place for brunch in sunny weather.

The menu is massive. However we made it a bit too late for breakfast so we had lunch there. The sandwiches r massive so order half portion. Or share a whole portion with someone else. The half portion sandwich with salad or soup is $17 and full portion sandwich with salad or soup is $20. Drinks and coffee are refillable... More

The food is delicious here. Different menu, not same old sandwiches. 5 different soups the day we visited. Large portions. Free refills on iced tea. Will be coming back.

This is an order at the counter place. The menu is extensive and a little different. The portions are huge but the price shows it. They offer half portions and "micro meals" for a more reasonable price and size. The food is delicious! We both loved our meals and were stuffed.

Gilbert's was a nice spot for a quick lunch. I ordered a bagel sandwich and it came with a small serving of potato salad and a dill pickle. My friend ordered a half salad. It was very good, the chicken was tender and warm, although a bit salty because of the capers. Fruit infused water is provided.

Thank Angela and Ron G
