I have been here for breakfast twice. You can eat inside or out. Try the minibreakfast. It is more than enough since you get a bagel on the side. The staff is nice, the ambiance is adequate. It is a good place for a fast eat.

Especially enjoyed the tomato soup -not cream-based, but rich with tomato and herb taste. Caesar salad was excellent as was the fresh avocado,,cucumber and tomato sandwich. For a quick meal, we were really impressed with the quality of food and service to their outside tables. Top notch deli.

This is a Bellevue institution and quite possible the most expensive sandwich place in the world, but well worth every bite. We have been completely my here for well over a decade and Gilbert never disappoints. I highly recommend getting the Reuben but have them just use corned beef on it. Also the breakfasts here are fantastic

Some of the best bagels in town and good egg dishes. It's really slow so don't bother if you're in a hurry Pretty expensive too

I went to Gilbert's for the first time this afternoon to meet a friend for lunch. I chose Gilbert's in part because of their rating, but more so because they has several good looking salads on the menu for my friend who is trying to eat low-carb. Haha funny going to a breakfast/sandwich place, right? So as I walk to... More

Went for a walk in Bellevue and passed Gilbert's and decided to stop in and so glad I did. The spinach omelette was amazing. Great staff and food

I have been coming here off and on for over 25 years. Yesterday had breakfast with my girlfriend and while we were sitting in back corner kind of hiding away a bit the owner can up and checked on our meals to make sure he had everything we needed. Deep in conversation we thanked him and remembered how often we... More

We had 2 bagel sandwiches- the maple turkey and the club for lunch. Based on the reviews I maybe had higher expectations. The sandwiches were good but nothing great by any means. They were slightly pricey for the size but did come with a potato salad which was average.

If you are looking for a fun, casual breakfast/lunch spot, you will enjoy Gilbert's. Food is tasty and ambiance is great. It is a bit pricey but great for special occasions. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Main Street is the best part of Bellevue so it is fun to walk around before or after lunch.

Really fresh bagels, the omelets are very good and quite large. We both had half orders and took some home. I just thought that 2 half order omelets, one bagel, one regular coffee and a latte costing $33.95 was a little high. Service was excellent.
