I love dumplings! I get them whenever I have the chance....dumplings... Potstickers...you name it. When I heard about this place I had to go. The website says Din Tai Fung was founded in Taipei, Taiwan in 1958 ....I'm glad they opened up places in the state. We had the soup dumplings which is what they are truly known for (XiaoLongBao)... There was a long line of Asian folks waiting to get in. Good sign. No wait for seat at bar! Wait dumplingd being prepared by workers in surgical gowns and masks! Unusual steamed dumplings filled with veges, meat and soup! Yummy. Garlic greens beans definitely garlicky- go with a close friend! Awesome ginger ice cream for dessert. A bit spendy... More

Din Tai Fung came highly recommended by a friend! They did not disappoint! Our waitress was awesome! She explained how things worked and made excellent suggestions! We loved everything we ate! Spicy won ton, rice cakes, and garlic string beans were our favs!

1st time @ Din Tai Fung. We went in for late around 2:45pm weekday. The first impression was already upset as the girl standing at the reception 1st word to us was "sorry, I have not started to work yet" :( that's about it). We got in by another girl not long after. Foods are just okay but expensive. The... More

My wife and I went to Seattle for a business trip in the spring and found this place across the street from our hotel. It located by a bridge that crosses the street and we found this by accident. It was always packed so we decided to try it. My wife has limited things she can eat, no pork, chicken... More

This is our first time dining at Din Tai Tung. Our initial attempt dining at DTF was in Santa Ana 2 yrs ago and the wait was horrendous. 2+ hr wait at 8:45pm and no guarantees that we'll be seated before they closed. There was a sense of arrogance in the hostess at the Santa Ana branch. Fast track to... More

I did a take out order on a Sunday night, which took about 15 mins. The line however, was about 20 people deep. The Pork XiaoLongBao was outstanding. I wasn't sure what to expect and I must say that having some soup in each dumpling is ingenious. I also had Chicken Fried rice, which was good, but not outstanding. In... More

We had heard rave reviews about this restaurant and the food did not disappoint. Best dumplings I've ever had. This is a must-eat when visiting the Seattle area!
