Two for dinner. Interior what you would expect from a really high end place. Substantial wine list with well versed sommelier. The Australian wagyu was excellent and tasty as expected - be careful can be bit rich if you not used to such styles of food. It is certainly a place for when you want to push the boat some... More

Came here for my girlfriends birthday. I made the reservation online and mentioned that it was a special occasion for my SO. Once we arrived we were greeted by the hostess and our waiter was super friendly. Ordered the mashed potatoes with lobster, a lobster tail and the grilled salmon. When ordering coffee, a creme brulee came as a courtesy... More

Husband and I saw an ad while on the airplane for John Howie and were a little skeptical. We have to say it was one of our top 10 dining experiences. We had the 4 filet combinations and it was excellent. Also enjoyed a cup of Kopi Luwak and it was excellent as well. Wish there were more locations but... More

Great happy hour. You must try the tempura bacon served with maple syrup ponzu sauce. Definitely food crack. We also had the shrimp in habanero sauce, the deviled eggs and the deep fried Brussel sprouts, all winner. Two Pokemon stops near by too. I need to go back to try the rest of the menu!

....That has left a standing impression on me. The happy burger is the best burger I have ever had anywhere. Other restaurants that have left the same impression was a sea food restaurant in Cabo Mexico and a French restaurant in St Martin.

Try the amazing food of John Howie in smaller portions (so you can try more) and for a great price. We went with good friends and we all loved the the deviled eggs with truffled bacon and also the Brussels sprouts. Seven Flavor Prime Tenderloin Bites are out of this world good!

2 years ago while we were out in Seattle. John was the guest chef at farestart the week we were there. We finally made it for lunch. It was very good, the service was outstanding. I had the juicy Lucy, my wife had the ham and egg sandwich special of the day. Unlike terra platt we will be going there... More

We eat at John Howie in Bellevue a couple of times a month or more. We've come to know many of the staff members by name. Except for the somewhat overpriced wine list and the tepid decor, we love this place. Reading some of the negative comments, including that seating of patrons is based on race, makes my blood pressure... More

John Howie Steak is a steak place. Most of its menu is beef related with some lobster and crab. It is not a seafood or chicken restaurant. That said, the beef is well done. We had lobster bisque, bone marrow appetizer, filet mignon, chateaubriand, and bananas foster. All were excellent. The service was top notch. The ambiance is a little... More

John Howie Steak offers an incredible selection of steak. American, Australian, and A5 100% pure Japaneses Wagyu beef, along with U.S. Prime and other dishes like chicken and fish. The service is terrific, and the food will leave you and your guests quietly eating the amazing dishes. Ambiance was not the traditional dark wood, dim lighting you would expect with... More
