The food at Cafe Nola is very good, but I won't go there again because of the rude service and uncaring attitude of the management. I took guests from Seattle there on a Monday evening. We were there well before closing time, but we were the only ones there and the staff clearly wanted us GONE! The server was rude... More

The menu varies through the seasons, I can always find something new and interesting to eat, the service is good, and the quality of the food is high. Good value. In the summer, the patio is open and while the al fresco atmosphere is nice, it can get a bit noisy given the proximity of the street.

A friend and I took the car ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island on our way to visit Olympic National Park. After a cold and dreary ride over, we stopped at Cafe Nola for brunch and were instantly greeted by the warm and cheerful folks inside for a lovely meal. Solid brunch options with fresh produce, local seafood, creamy farm... More

Excellent service. Small but varied wine list of Washington and Oregon wines with knowledgeable servers. Good food. Nice variety something for meat, seafood and vegetable lovers. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Comfortable spot to catch up with old friends.

Discussed with several locals and tourists the best place to eat and Cafe Nola was highly recommended. Three ladies, we were given a table in the corner of the back room. Perfect! We could see out the window, only one other table was occupied, it was cozy and quiet. The "table bread" offered was fantastic: crusty and flavorful. I had... More

My sweetie took me here for my birthday dinner. We had sirloin tips wrapped in bacon, i had a fabulous beet salad, the lamb Bolognese was a bit heavy and not really bolognese. Atmosphere wonderful and so was our waitress

We have visited several times. Great food, great service. Great fish dishes, clam chowder, and a large wine selection.

We went after spending the afternoon shopping so I was fairly hungry. I had the chicken and dumplings for dinner. It was very good and the portion was decent. It's a cozy place on a quaint island. The servers were nice and attentive. I wish I would have tried the scallops, but they were a little too pricey.

Restaurant is small, but food is good. It is particularly attractive as a ladies' luncheon spot. Try the salads.

Four of us had bunch. The meals: Seafood stew, fish and chips, Veggie sandwich, and crab sandwich. Seafood stew was pretty good. Fish & chips was over battered, over cooked and over priced. Veggie sandwich...pretty good. Crab sandwich...far less crab than shown in the photos....look at the photo and ask yourself...is this worth $24?. Service was indifferent. I got fries... More
