We went after spending the afternoon shopping so I was fairly hungry. I had the chicken and dumplings for dinner. It was very good and the portion was decent. It's a cozy place on a quaint island. The servers were nice and attentive. I wish I would have tried the scallops, but they were a little too pricey.

Restaurant is small, but food is good. It is particularly attractive as a ladies' luncheon spot. Try the salads.

Four of us had bunch. The meals: Seafood stew, fish and chips, Veggie sandwich, and crab sandwich. Seafood stew was pretty good. Fish & chips was over battered, over cooked and over priced. Veggie sandwich...pretty good. Crab sandwich...far less crab than shown in the photos....look at the photo and ask yourself...is this worth $24?. Service was indifferent. I got fries... More

Loved the food. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied and encouraged us to try different foods. I appreciated their attentiveness and friendliness. I would recommend the (can't remember the exact name) seafood pancake with house soy sauce for an appetizer. It was wonderful.

Why is that the more expensive the restaurant is the smaller the portions are? After a busy day we were hungry and looked for to a good meal. Yes, the tastes were good but portion size was disappointing. The halibut tacos were tasty but about the size of an appetizer. The 4 seared scallops served on cornbread were perfectly cooked... We first ate at Cafe Nola in June. We loved it! The food was very good and the service attentive. So, we went back in September. First, the service was terrible. The waitress seemed to be cranky with other employees, and it showed. Also, the food wasn't nearly as good as a few months before. What happened?

We are here last night and have been here before. They seem to be getting away from the French influence which is a little sad. Having said, we had a truly delicious meal. The wine list is short, but well-considered. Service is friendly and efficient. We would return.

During a brief exploration stop on the island one of the merchants recommended this place for lunch. To die for crab soup and lots of sandwich or salad options. Staff were very gracious and helpful - just a cool place to stop and with really good food.

We took our God son to brunch for his birthday. We all ordered different items and everyone reported them to be excellent. We shared a bread pudding that was also a big hit.

Really had great service here and an excellent meal. Our seating was in the very back and it was certainly cozy but a tad to tight for my comfort. Can't fault Cafe Nola too much for that though as the food is great and the service efficient and professional. We received the wrong order and they quickly corrected the plate... More
