We canceled our "fancy" dinner in Seattle for what we thought would be a more casual meal on Bainbridge Island on the advice of someone who lives in the Seattle area. We definitely made the right decision! This was a beautiful meal on a gorgeous summer evening in a more relaxed setting. It was as fresh and delicious as it... More

Good location, nice environment and helpful and friendly staff, but the food was not as expected... We had a ceviche as a starter which was very good. As main course we had Bacalao, Chicken Catalina and Burger. The Burger was the only good one....

While on a trip up the Oregon Coast and onto Seattle, we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island to tour the Bloedel Reserve. We had reservations at Cafe Nola for an early dinner. A high chair was provided for our 13 month-old granddaughter. While the menu is not extensive, the food is delicious!

We had a delicious breakfast at Cafe Nola. I would recommend it for breakfast or lunch. They serve unique and delicious food combinations. Balsamic cantaloupe on toast, crab deviled eggs and award winning pecan French toast with orange maple syrup. Yummy food and drinks. Great service. Located in town on the Main Street.

You'll find by dining here an excellent, fine dining restaurant. It has a creative menu and obviously a skilled chef. All dishes served were well presented and delicious. The decor is attractive, location convenient, ambience comforting and service top notch.

This place has an overrated reputation or maybe I just don't like the menu much. It is on the expensive side for what is served.. Staff is attentive. Ambiance is mediocre. Haven't been seated outside yet. Good for intimate dining.

Our food was average, at best, and our server was awful. We sat on the patio, and we look over and the waitress is yelling profanities at one of the other servers. She then took our order, and we had to ask several times for our drinks, as well as refills.

We have never been disappointed by a meal here, when we visit the Island. The soups are good, the main courses are delicious and the desserts are worth saving some room.

We have been coming to this restaurant since 2000, at least once a year when we come over to Bainbridge Island (which we love) from Seattle and it used to be one of our favorite restaurants anywhere-----well prepared creative food, cozy cafe ambiance, excellent service with cheerful, competent, committed wait staff who knew what they were doing. The last time... More
