Really neat place with a romantic feel. I ordered the strip steak sandwich and my husband had the BLT. Both were excellent choices and very filling. The sweet tea was also very good. Teresa was our server and always seemed to know just when to come around the corner to fill our glasses. Had a nice visit with her after... More

This area is one of our midway stops on our trip home from the Panhandle. My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Our waitress gave excellent customer service.

What a Place! The original part of the structure was constructed in 1776 & the entire place is reminiscent of that era. The gardens and gift shops have surprises tucked into every nook & cranny. We had the homemade chicken noodle soup & it was outstanding. The New York Strip steak was as good as at the finest steak houses.... More

We tried to like this place. We believe the only reason that they get the rating they do is the location - really not much else in this area and the real attraction is NOT the food or the service but it is the building. Once you get over that - the service was incredibly slow (they tell you that... More

If I could rate this rate this place 0, I would. We are out of town and this place was recommended. We walked in and one of the hosts gave us attitude because we didn't have a reservation. After waiting, another set of guests inquired why they hadn't been seated, the other host said that the party was marked off... More

we had dinner there, portions are large and taste is okay, not anything too special. We had their house special, stuffed pork, was okay only! The place itself is pretty neat, worth going there to see!

Went to the bar area and enjoyed a good dinner and conversation with some other guys there while watching the World Series. Nice beer selection. Good steaks. Friendly staff. Good value.

Food was good, although I was limited in choices because they offer few gluten free options. Fun to explore the original house. Dont miss second floor. Two wonderful gift shops on premises, plus a funky garden with original art. Highlight is the bar. We went at lunch, but had we been there overnight, I definitely would have tipped a few... More
