I ordered chicken with green beans and had coconut pie for dessert. My husband ordered fish and broccoli and had creme brule for dessert. The wine we had was excellent. The chicken was overdone and the green beans were hardly steamed and had soft old ends that should have been cut off, - they appeared to be the grocery store... More

Fantastic food. Stuffed chicken was like heaven in my mouth. The seasoning outside chicken was amazing but the stuffing was even better. Maybe the cream cheese is the secret..I'm adding it at Thanksgiving to my stuffing. John was so helpful and spot on with advice.

The building itself is wonderful - the historical feel is amazing. The food is excellant! I've eaten here several times and the steaks are worth every penny!

We had an overnight stay in the area and sought this out for dinner. What a great meal! We started with the spinach/artichoke dip -- very good and they gave you plenty of chips. I had the chicken verde -- chicken stuffed with cheese and spinach -- it was outstanding. My husband had the rib-eye steak and said it was... More

We had a business dinner here. We were given a fairly quiet room and a large table so we could talk to each other while dining. The meeting was excellent and the food was delicious! This is an interesting multi-room restaurant with separate rooms and dining nooks, all very rustic looking and interesting. The server was excellent. Do not miss... More

We enjoyed a hearty lunch with good-sized portions. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and inviting. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Would come every day if only we lived here.

During an overnight stop in Wytheville we wanted a non fair food dinner. This hit the jackpot. In a building part of which was built in 1776 you are greeted at the entry by an attentive hostess. We were seated in the 1776 room and were instantly approached by our server with fresh hot bread and water. After a glass... More

We stopped here with friends for a late night meal while visiting in Wytheville. The place had a cozy feel to it. The food took awhile to be delivered. We were invited to tour the building so we did after our meal. Very interesting to say the least. If you are looking for unusual gift or decoarting ideas, this is... More

Very misleading by the look and first impression. Pricey but the food was good . Staff was odd but entertaining. The spiders in their webs in the dining room were a little disturbing but I convinced myself it was part p for the decor.

The service was excellent. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere great. The restaurant has lots of character and the customers were from all over the states.
