My husband and I were just chatting about how much we love this place - and I realized it was time we left a review saying so! We go there with some frequency (live nearby). Excellent, excellent food, very reasonably priced, wonderful staff. We came during the pandemic - sometimes takeout, sometimes in booths that were carefully separated for safety. This is one of those local places you might not notice, since it's in a little shopping plaza. But one of my favorite places. Such a lovely staff and great service.

Taste of Tandoor was very good. I’m not usually a huge Indian food fan, but the $10 buffet was very good, fresh, and well kept. Restaurant was clean with a nice ambiance. Servers very attentive. Had a good time and will come back.

The lunch special was well priced, and we got a lot of food. I got the vegetarian option with the Aloo Gobi Masala, and it was so good!

Since Covid we have ordered take out at least 5 times. Each time I ask for my dinner to be Not Spicy Hot. When we get home it's so spicy hot I can't eat it. I even have added cream to it and it doesn't help. This time the rice wasn't even cooked. So disappointed. I really liked the food. We are now looking for another Indian restraunt

I want this restaurant to thrive, they are nice people, who make excellent Indian food. so I hope this review helps them reorganize how they are operating.
We went in-person for dinner and there were many tables dining inside. The take-out drivers, from Uber eats to Grub hub were lined up 12 deep, waiting on their take out orders. It was a HUGE mess. all of these drivers, on their iphones, loud and standing all around us, waiting for their orders to deliver. The space got so tight around the people sitting for dinner.
The bags of food for take-out went flying out of the restaurant and everyone in the restaurant, sat, with no food or service. these poor people could not keep up with the supply and demand. The table next to us got up and left. I think the demands of the take-out are so extreme that they cannot handle it and in-person dining. I have really never seen anything like this. Not to mention but a dozen people standing around, listening to music or videos on their phones, or chatting with their friends while they wait, ruined the atmosphere for the rest of us.
I hope they find a system that works better soon or their charming little restaurant will be nothing but a take-out option.
Their food is excellent, we love the lentils, butter chicken, rice, garlic nann bread and the shrimp tandoor.

Enjoyed a good meal of chicken and of goat kerala. Tried some mulligatawny soup which was creamy and just a bit zippy. We will be back.

We have been coming here since they opened. This is, by far the best Indian food around. Restaurant is kid friendly, wait staff is extremely accommodating and friendly and prices are reasonable.

We love Indian food and are frequently trying new places. We always come back to the Taste of Tandor. The food is always excellent and the staff are wonderful! The owner always makes is feel like family. Fabulous!!

I often find myself craving their food. It is my favorite Indian food restaurant, although I am not an Indian myself and don't like spicy foods as such. I like the ambient atmosphere of the place at dinnertime, and the flavor of their food is just wonderful.

So, they speak little English and messed up my order a few times but they did it with such a smile and the food is so unmatched by other Indian cuisine in the area that I kept coming back. They remember us by heart now, are really nice to us. It’s cold in here too, but it’s always only a few people here. The food is good enough for people to make a long drive to too. For my own reasons (I don’t like big crowds), it’s perfect the way it is, but the real truth is that the line should be out the door and down the street for a meal here. They do a ton of take out business too.

Have been here numerous times over the past 10 years but had not been there in almost a year so we went on a Friday evening around 6:00 pm and were seated promptly. We've always enjoyed the excellent Indian dishes here and the food, once we received it, was superb this time as well. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor, not because the employees didn't try their best to serve us, but due to their apparent lack of staff. There was no dedicated bartender and only a couple waiters for the entire restaurant so they were simply overwhelmed b customers. An Indian family of seven came in after us and sat nearby but departed before we did and appeared very unhappy with the lack of adequate service.

This restaurant always has a fantastic menu and the food is over the top wonderful. The curry chicken was wonderful and left you wanting more. Tried a new dish that was named by the Indian region and it was amazing.

I hadn’t been here in years but was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy but the staff worked hard to get us seated. All but my eldest son got the buffet. He chose to indulge in his own ideas, dad was paying. It was so nice to have a happy lunch.

My Father and I always eat here wherever I'm in town. We get the buffet which is always fresh and delicious and some of the servers remember us by name. I recommend this place often!
