The food here is very good. The place is charming and the service is good. The quiche as it's supposed to be, not overbaked and solid as in most restaurants. We've eaten here a couple of times and if we lived closer we'd be back often.

We went for the Sunday brunch and were disappointed. It is a fair deal for 3 courses and drinks but the food is very bland. We started with the caesar salad which was very tasty. The country fried steak was a huge disappointment. It was very small and unbelievably tough. We had to saw with our knives and really made... More

Went there on Saturday evening with another couple and loved the atmosphere of the old building. Hubby and I split the Caesar salad and I had the Filet Mignon with Bernaise. It was absolutely wonderful, cooked just the way I ordered it and the Bernaise just topped it off. Although there are not many options on the menu I am... More

Went for Sunday brunch this past weekend. It's more of a savory brunch - you start with a soup and salad rather than standard breakfast fare - but it was all very tasty. Service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. The all you can drink mimosa/bloody mary bar was nice - but a bit of a pain to get... More

My girlfriend and I made a reservation for Sunday brunch bottomless mimosas. I was brought the incorrect entree from what I ordered. I understand this happens sometimes, I am easy going, and do not get upset. But then I noticed the new plate, although having the correct benedict, still had the incorrect side dish from what was written on the... More

Excellent service. The waitstaff was quite attentive. Truly, this chef must enjoy preparing and dining on delicious meals. My husband said that the steak was prepared just the way he likes it. I had the wild mushroom ravioli--oh my. Even to the last bite, it was delicious. The cab was very good and my husband liked the 7 & 7.... More

Went for dinner with partner and ate in their dining room. The menus for the lounge and the dining room are different, but they will gladly bring you a lounge menu if you want to dine in the dining room, but want something more casual to eat (burgers, for instance).. Both of us had draft beers. Their draft beer selection... More

We've eaten a the Village Square twice, including for lunch today. It was lovely, just perfect. Since it was a nice day, we sat outside in the patio area, which offered shade. Service was great, food was fantastic, and prices were unbelievably low. My husband had 1/2 sandwich + cup of soup (crab) + salad, all for $10. I had... More

Great preparations, great atmosphere, wonderful choices, excellent chef. This is the nicest and most consistent Winchester restaurant. (More selection than One Block West which is the only good comparison.)
