Quaint setting. Prompt service. Ordered beverage and appetizer. Told could not order appetizer unless placed order for entrée. Did not have time to review menu after listening to evening specials. After review, placed order. Bread and bread sticks were presented. Bread was very dry and...pretty much tasteless. Main course of Lobster with ravioli and Veal Saltimbocca were excellent. Nice portions and all flavorful with great presentations.More

This Italian restaurant is nothing more then average. Serving this cooking in Italy would be a shame. Also their measures against Covid are really not good. They fill up the restaurant and take off their mask as soon they are behind the counter. Scratching their...nose and then don't wash or disinfect hands. So when restaurant was full we only wanted to get out as soon as possible.More

My husband and I had an amazing experience dining at Violino. I had the carbonara pasta, and my husband had the seasonal rissoto, but before having these we were surprised with a very tasty squash buttery soup on the house. We ended up ordering a...pint of that! And at the end, the chef sang happy aniversary to us, awesome! :) Highly recommend it!!!More

We went here one year for our Anniversary and plan to go back again this year. The food was very good and the service was great. The owner made us feel so welcome and it was a nice atmosphere. This is authentic Italian Cuisine, nice...environment. We truly enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to going back in October 2020. I recommend a visit to this restaurant if you are in the area, we happen to just come across it on a visit to NC.More

In COVID times things are tough, but Violino was outstanding. Great service, complementary soup, and delicious meal with sizeable portions.

Visiting Winchester we stopped here out second night. Had dinner on the patio along the mall, very nice, perfect weather. My spouse had the Fettuccine with wild mushrooms while I enjoyed the Lasagna Genovese. Both were very good! We started with the Melanzane (eggplant) for...me and lobster bisque for him, both delicious. All in all a very nice place to visit. My only suggestion would be they need to update the website. The photo of the patio does not really do the current patio configuration justice, its much nicer!!More

It was a really nice surprise in Winchester. Located on nice walking street. We were dining outside. Food was delicious, I had hard time to choose the food from the menu because everything on menu sounds so good. Service was excellent.

We decided to enjoy a French dinner out during a weekend getaway in Winchester. We are very glad we did! We called ahead to reserve a table and had no problem doing so. Waitresses wore masks, were friendly, and had a table for 2 ready...at 6:00 on a Saturday night. We shared French Onion Soup, escargot, a chicken and mushroom dish and a seafood and crepe dish. Everything was delicious and served hot and in a timely manner. We would definitely return. (Note: This restaurant is located within walking distance of the pedestrian mall in Old Town Winchester. Parking is free on weekends.)More

maybe a little more than chain restaurants but you will receive excellent food and service. I've always found it to be higher cost for better food and wider menu selection.

Yes that is correct. Our last seating is at 8:45. I know it seems early but since we have been open, over 20 years, it hasn't been lucrative to stay open later than 9. As the years go by and the population changes we... More
